I have always been a bit reserved about fortune tellers, palm readers, and psychics in America. I have always thought that they just take your
appointment information, and do a background check or Google you, friend you on Facebook, or what not. So, recently I saw a little sidewalk sign for a
Palm Reader / Psychic and thought, I would seize the moment and waltz in without any chance for someone to research me.
Up a narrow hallway (isn't that always how it goes), in the back of an old historic building, there was a small office and a little old woman who
reminded me instantly of the woman in the Matrix that Neo goes to visit. She was the only one in the office, and when I came in she locked the door
behind me and we went into the reading room. She had me hold out my palms, and began to give me some basic information. Her thick sunglasses prevented
me from seeing her eyes, and most of her facial expressions, so it was a bit unnerving.
Some of which was pretty interesting, and she mentioned that I had been into Philanthropy in my past life, and that some of that has carried over into
this life. That is spot on, as I have spent the past six years working with third world children, building schools, homes, and providing clothing and
food.
She also mentioned to me that I was a VERY old soul who has been around the block many times, and that money does not hold much value to me in life,
as long as I can live a simple life I am content. Again, pretty accurate.
And that I should expect to live a very long time, without suffering from any serious medical ailments.
Unfortunately, I wasn't sure what to expect and when asked if I had any questions, I let the time pass unwisely by asking questions about luck and
other things, and did not ask her any really interesting questions. But, I plan to go back for a full blow Tarot card reading, which isnt cheap, but I
am more interested in the experience, just for the sake of experience and was wondering if anyone has any experiences with tarot readings or short
stories to share?
