The Dudesons. Are They Insane?

So often on the interwebs we see comments declaring the proponent of a theory is insane.

I would very much like to make use of this surfeit of psychiatrists to answer the question in the title.

When you've got a minute, when the waiting room is empty, could you please flick through this video and give me the answer to the question that has been vexing me for so long.

Are they insane?

I think these guys were coattailing on Jackass fame in America.
Extreme behavior seems to be the ticket to fame these days.
So selling your body for money is again the way to go.
These guys have a screw loose and will push until one dies, then there will be a short grab for sympathy fame then onto the next stunt.

Narcissism can be terminal. These guys and others are trying to validate that daily.

They're friends of the Jackass crowd and from what I've seen Jackass seem to be somewhat in awe of them.

I honestly cannot tell if they are insane, or merely constantly drunk! But I tell you what, those Dudesons are hardcore. I mean, I have done some pretty silly things in my time, but swinging from the roof of a building even as it disintergrates around oneself, is not something I have ever considered as a good idea, even in desperate times!

I know not whether to congratulate them on their testicular fortitude, or send them all on an expenses paid trip to rehab for a month. I am not even sure if rehab would work on these dudes(ons). Ill advised in deed, utterly nonsensical of word, yes, they most certainly are. But insane? Nah, I think just bored and in possession of a budget and a camera would cover it.

Dudesons are insane.
They have been doing these stunts about a decade if not longer, they have Bam Margera and gang as their close friends. And i bet they were inspired by jackass.

These idiots had a tv show in finland when they were invited in other peoples homes.

There is a huge promlem when a show like this has an age limit 7 years old and all the kids want to be like dudesons. In schools kids do stupid stunts like running as fast as they can and hit the tree. Gladly some of their success has been fading and i hope they will be forgotten. Also i hope parents should see the damage these guys do in their kids by being wrong role models.. its a huge wake up call.

They are insane.
Its easy to do stupid stunts in Finland where there is a free healthcare, they did have problems to get insurance for their USA trip for obvious reasons.
Now they do as much money as they can but their future won´t be easy or even desirable when they grow older.

Here's a duel between them.

Jackass and the like just hold no entertainment value in my eyes. Maybe I'm a prude... It's a sign of the times I guess - that if I wanted to I could wake up tomorrow and get drunk and high on drugs and film myself acting like a nimrod and as long as I endanger myself in the process I could make a (short) career out of it.

Thank you for answering the question directly. Their future will contain a lot of groaning and moaning. Those old injuries will resurface with a vengeance.

Healthcare in Finland is excellent, as I experienced 40 years ago when a two tear old Finnish girl sliced halfway through my thumb with a puukko. I just looked at the scar. A present from Finland. She's now a famous artist, I've avoided reminding her of that little accident. Her grandfather cut his leg very badly with an axe and stitched it up himself before hobbling miles home through the forest. The healthcare is great but sometimes very far away.

The bicycle I used while I was there was one of two that had been loaded with all the possessions they could save and pushed for days through the forest ahead of the Russian tanks. That's something we have to remember. Russia still has intentions. Last time the Finns used puukkos and bottles of petrol to defend their homeland. The petrol ignited from the heat of the tank exhaust. Sweden lent them thousands of used puukkos then asked for them back after the war. Russia will think twice when faced with hordes of little blond kids raised on this stuff.

I could only stomach part of those videos. I've never heard of these idiots.
I don't see how anyone could waste their time watching/doing this stuff.
Well .... to each their own I guess.

My doctor friend hates anything like this. 'You've Been Framed' is too much for her. She can picture every emergency procedure resulting from those bumps and falls.

I don't think it will insult all Finns if I say they're not necessarily drunk and high, just Finnish.

Lol.. i guess finns are a bit different. The fact is i have also played with puukko ( sheath knife ) when i was a kid, we had this game when two kids were facing each other and threw the knife on the ground and the opposite moved one foot where the knife was and it was his/hers turn to do the same.. no injuried then i think i was 10 years or less at the time.
I also had an accident with leatherman knife, this accident cut my index finger and the amount of blood was much more than i expected. I didn´t want to drive to healtcare with my brand new car so i took end of my finger and put it in plastic and in my pocket and pressed the top of my severed index finger with my thumb and went to healthcare with my bike holding one arm up and pressing my index with my thumb ( most likely quite a view ). Finger were saved even i can´t feel much with it.. it works ok.
Stupidity is another thing and dudesons are a fine example of stupidity.

I'm greatly impressed by your fortitude.

Here in England the healthcare is now so bad if you go to hospital with an injury it's healed before you get to the front of the queue.

If you have an accident the worst thing you could possibly do is panic. And there is long distances in Finland so i had to think do i call taxi or go with bike and bike and shortcuts won.
I feel sorry for your healthcare there.. queing worst when you need help.
