Lets get something clear: there is only 1 special forces unit. They are sometimes known as Green Berets. When you make it through sfas and sfqc you get a special forces tab to put on your uniform and a green beret. All of these other units are apart of the special operations community but they are not Special forces. Seals are navy seals not special forces, they fall under the Joint special operations command JSOC but again they are not special forces, that goes for Force Recon, Rangers, Delta, SAS, SBS, etc, etc!!!! SF is what the green berets are called. It makes me sick to hear all of you talk about this crap and not use correct terminology.
Everyone wonders who is the best!? Well anyone with any sense knows that Delta Force and The Brit. SAS are the cream of the crop!! They are the Elite of the Elite. I have read some of you Brits smartass remarks about how the SAS training and selection process is by far the toughest. Well once again you are blinded by your bias. All you have to do is pick up a book and read and you'll soon find out that Delta's selection process is practically identical to that of the SAS. They are the same moreless. They train all the time together, do operations together etc. Delta was founded based on what the SAS was all about. We took ideas from the SAS and figured out what would best suit us. If you want to know my opinion on who is the best here it is
1] Delta/SAS
2]Special Forces/Seals/Force Recon/SBS
3]Army Rangers
4]Royal Marines
5]Combat controlers/P J'[gumball machine commandos, put in a quarter and out comes a PJ or a CC.

will explain more/educate all of you more in a moment
