Ufos in Chicago March 18

Can anyone from that area confirm this sighting?

Nice sighting but how did it end ? did they disappear ? flew away ?

I think the most likely explanation is aircraft coming in to land at Chicago O'Hare airport.

Good grief, they even acknowledge the navigation lights!

I dont know if these videos are for real, the guy talking is saying that a lot of people saw it in diferent parts of town, that they stood still for about 10 min and then they disappeared. As i said earlier, i dont now about the credibility of this video, but i had an encounter and the objects we saw, looked the same (espheric light objects). Looks very real to me!

That being the case, you would think the locals would find that pretty mundane, unless of course they are pranking.

If you're anywhere near O'Hare you're going to see a lot of lights in the sky. The flight paths stack up all the way to the far suburbs, even as far as the WI border. On a clear day you can see a conga line of seemingly motionless lights in the sky.

As far as helicopters go it seems that whenever anything happens around here at least one news chopper gets dispatched. I've seen up to four hovering over a site on my way to work [near O'Hare] in the early am. When I do I tune in to the news radio to find out what happened.

Could be, somethings not right, the mufon case number 54972 is not Chicago, it's over a river in Oregon.
I see the Nav lights of the helicopters, I don't yet see any phasing of light round the two principle lights.
The other thing is, the two lights whatever they are, are part of the scene. The third camera is dirty or misty, making the light refract on both the two lights and the nearest helicopter, maybe street lights too..I'll look again anyway.

thats a helicopter.only one object has them and circles the other objects..

I think i would want to find out who owns the helicopter first as its the "identified" piece of evidence...

Who owns it? Military? Police? News Channel? Civilian?

Perhaps finding the owner of it would help work out if there were cameras on board it. After all if its the news guys up there then chances are there is some good quality close range HD footage.

As for the two "unidentified" objects. Planes in landing queue? yeah maybe. Seen the lines of seemingly stationary landing lights on aircraft over here in the UK. However if they were supposedly filmed for 10 minutes, I would have expected at least some movement and a change in altitude as they are on a glide slope.

I think a couple of times is saw a "cone effect" from the left hand object, kind of like the one a large spotlight makes that police use but i cant be sure. But saying that it doesn't really explain it being visible and a fairly consistent brightness from various angles.

IMHO we need more information about the use of the airspace and/or radar data (if any) by the known quantities before we can make any further judgement on the two "unknowns"
