Yes, he's a bit of an Indiana Jones, in any case every guy cutting through rainforest to find lost cities will be compared to IJ. He's driven, and I
think he's doing a good job at what he is doing. He doesn't actually excavate sites, but he tracks down and locate sites, he documents them, then
goes public. He needs good relations with the government, because of various permits you need in that line of work. Then again he does not want to be
left out on a find that could be the greatest in South America since Machu Picchu was 'found'. I'm glad he's out there, he has found some nice
sites, and I for sure do not want to spend two weeks cutting through dense rainforest, exposing myself to unbearable heat, freak rainstorms,
mosquitoes, bugs, dysentery, malaria, manioc and rice diet and hostile natives with perfect knowledge of the jungle who attack you with poisoned
darts, and you're about a week's march back to the nearest telephone if something happens.
