I no longer see a limit to the amount of characters used in a post or thread.
Is there no limit or it simply got mislaid somewhere on the route from the Overlord's computer?

OK. Thanks. But no show here on mine. Maybe I should log out and come back in.

Can anyone that reads this thread tell me what they see is the limit on their computer?

When I start a thread, I normally have "7500 characters remaining".

PS Having said that, I now realise that I don't see it just at the moment.

I'm not seeing a character count either. Perhaps it's because I'm at work on a XP machine with Chrome.

At home I use Linux and I believe I see a character count on Firefox.

Word count is not showing up on either chrome or IE for my Windows machine.

Well, you should be able to tell when you are to the character limit because it will stop adding text in the field when you type. So it shouldn't be too much of a hassle.
