Mods, I put it under People because it is about people.

More than half will go into charity Immediately like within 3 months, my father almost fainted when he heard how much will go into charity. He is deeply disappointed and we almost had a fight.

He represents vast majority. People who work work work, and rarely think about more complex things in life like empathy etc.

I won't post location, sums, who, what, those who say PIC or it didn't happen, that's fine. Not my problem.

I've had a tough life, I made a thread about it if anyone wants to read it. I am not elated by the win, but that's because I am not elated about anything, money can destroy you if you don't know who you are as a person.

I believe this money is a gift from powerful spirit called Jesus

I believe this money is not for Ferraris (I can't even spell the damn things) and luxury.

I believe this money is to prepare people I selected for coming economic collapse and World War 3.

The list of people will include truly decent people I know, who proved themselves to me.

I will also help great deal of Single Mothers, because I believe they are the true sufferers in our society.

I will also help great many of street people but not with large sums like others, lets face it, many of them are druggies.

Not a single official religious or quasi government organization will get a penny, after all, I am an ATS reader.

Every person I help, other than street people (because long term they don't stand a chance anyway)
will receive page from me explaining that this money is not for paying debt, or buying luxury or starting businesses etc.

BUT ONLY for preparation for economic collapse, now that Russia will counterattack US and NATO interests because someone has to stand up to a bully, eventually. I think we will also have WW3, I think the elite want the war anyway, to wipe off US debt and blame others.

And it doesn't matter that half of them will piiisss it away anyway, that's not my problem, my job is to help them and inform, that's all.

This is probably my last post on ATS, I won't check the PMs, I do regret that this is anonymous site and that there are great many of you decent good non-shill folks.

I wish I could help you all, I truly do, I feel like I don't have long on Earth anyway, I can't explain it, just a feeling, but I think I have a lot of work to do for the next 3-6 months.

Go for it!

If I won it big, I would set up my kids first so they could have the life that I didn't.

Then I would buy a nice site to fit us all in should TSHTF.

The rest, much as you are doing but I would try and give it directly to those I wanted to help. Charities are bogus to take money from the gullible.

Well done! I envy you the pleasure of changing peoples lives, I really do!

You don't want to help people in debt, but want to help them to prepare for global disasters. Rethink please.

Go straight to the starving children and save them today because they are dying while you promote food storage.

Walk the streets in my town (Newark, NJ), rescue and rehab the prostitutes, many of them single mothers.

Offer free ride buses to work for underpayed workers waiting in bus stops at 4 am in the cold and dark.

Let me know if you want more suggestions, I'll be open to help you before you waste the money with your silly ideas.

they can be considered religious organisation, but they aren't the typical way : every belief system is accepted and they cannot be proselyte nor communicate on their self nor take credit for their work, it's against their spiritual philosophy.

muslims, christians and hindus are employed to work together on this project managed by a Swami

very small cash for us westerner is a lot for the poor villagers they care about

Sounds nice. It's best to help on an individual basis, starting with family and friends. Remember, the more you do for someone, the less they appreciate it. I, too won the lottery and moved to a foreign land.

My moto has always been money is meant to be spent, whether it's in charity, on yourself - which includes saving - or just having fun. It should not be wasted. It should be recirculated. Do what you want with it! But beware, most charities are somewhat glorified pyramid schemes.

Glorified pyramid schemes, hmm, I like that. I was watching on YouTube on how these schemes work. Sad that once you know the law, the law says that charities must give 5% into their cause, yep, the rest can be used for whatever purpose.

Like I mention, the more you do for someone, the less they appreciate it. That is why many homeless shelters restrict the homeless to a maximum of 2 weeks and then booted out.

I was a street person, for almost a whole year of my life back when I was in my late teens. I made it because people didn't look at me and say " she don't stand a chance" and no I didn't use drugs or prostitute myself, I just found myself in a bad situation as so many people do. Sure, a lot of homeless people do use drugs, but don't assume you know everyone's story.

I don't know Jesus like the religious do, but I doubt he would look down his nose on the street people. Seems like ill thinking on your part to use him as the reason you now have money.

Great that you won, do what you want with your winnings.

If I won money, part of what I would do is pay the hospital bills of the families of sick children, or single parents, because the last thing families need during a sickness is more stress. I would pay to grant last wishes for the dying. Those are some of the things I would do.

Giving money to charity is a good move because it is a tax deduction. Just spend the rest wisely on things that generate income but don't waste money on wall street that place is nothing but one big pyramid scheme.

That's a great post. I salute you. Also, great idea about paying hospital bills.

Make sure the charities actually do what they are supposed to with the money. Many charities burn up the money in payroll and overhead. Some do things that are not really necessary and are not really good charities.

Examples are some of the nonprofit animal stuff, they haul dogs all over the country. Taking a dog or cat from a local setting is what is necessary, not paying to transport it all over the country. I know of people that take trips to areas a thousand miles away to pick up animals, they go visit their friends and these donations pay their expenses. This is just a way of subsidizing their desire to travel.

The devil would have you believe a lie. If I won the lotto, I would help the regular humane society here and the feed America local program. I would donate to Vinnies and some of the organizations where a high percentage of the donation goes to helping the needy. Jesus says to help the needy, not the pocketbooks of those helping the needy.

Get your head out of your ass....
Do you really think even one person you give money to will use it to prepare for www3?
How naive of you.
And as for this comment,

Every person I help, other than street people (because long term they don't stand a chance anyway)

You wont be helping one single person do anything other than improve their bank balance. Asides from the people the charity helps.
So what if 'street people' are druggies? They more than anyone need help. Go out and but them coats, shoes clothes.
Do something useful with the money, not act out a personal fantasy...

I think some of you may have missed the OP's point. He believes that WWII will begin in 3-6 months. What good is it to donate to a charity or pay your debts if the world is ending in 3 months? The charity will take months just to decide how to spend the money, and the debt money is better spent on provisions. He is not writing about preparing for the future, he is preparing for the present.

You're doing it right.

Whatever your situation is, may it end with you knowing at least that.

It's not something very many people get to say before disembarking.
