As per 'the usual', there appears to be more to this story than initially meets the eye.
It was, supposedly, the day of the Prom.
She had been voted "Prom Queen".
Had a boyfriend - which probably wasn't a surprise to the attacker.
He asked her - she refused - he slashed her (either before or after or both - pushing her down the stairs).
This tells and suggests a couple of things...
1. He brought the knife to school (& possibly/probably? with the intent to do this)
2. This was not a 'fly off the handle' response (he chose the 'star' - so the intent was to damage the school and many others, as well)

Now - maybe pharmaceuticals were involved. But he wasn't out of control. This was deliberate.

Is there something in the water...in CT?

It is easy to hate this punk, but if we as adults don't address some of the ridiculous things that we are allowing to be done to our children??? That isn't even mentioning how some parents DON'T PARENT! Give em everything they want so they shut the hell up and leave us alone?

This is what happens when we allow the government to take control of parents and indoctrinate our children!

Unfortunately, Our Government has neutered parental control and disciplining these kids, along with the teachers discipline. So they replaced the paddle or threat of it with lousy drugs.
