Tired of MSM

For as long as I can remember they have been feeding us garbage. Every single day it seems like we have to go through it again.

And the thing is it isn't like all of the MSM stations are the same. Everyone is different. So one will say one thing, the other will say the other. It is absolutely mind numbing how impossibly ignorant it is.

I feel like we as a people in this country have sat by long enough and must take a stand. We must force the MSM to bend to our will. Force them to choose whose side they are on. I will no longer be watching MSM until they make a decision.

Just pick one and stick with it. Where is Congress on this. Force the news to use one and ban the other one. Whose with me?

It's a free country. You have a choice of watching MSM or using alternative sources for your news.

Who are you to ban any source? Some people enjoy watching MSM just because you dislike the content it should be discontinued?

We have this problem in the UK also,i think is all part of TPTB plan to keep us in the dark on real issues and keep us arguing on trivial pointless things.

Like most people i used to visit MSM sites regularly but some time ago i became aware just what it really was, a propaganda platform for TPTB.

I'm hearing you bro, I swear they just pick 3-4 stories and run with it for a week or so until something more dramatic surfaces and the process repeats itself again. But to be honest with you, I don't waste my time with the MSM, It is bias, very unreliable when to comes to certain issues and just another avenue or agenda for sprinkling the masses with garbage.

I stopped watching the news years ago and don't miss it one bit.

You live at a time where you can tailor how the news comes to you and when, what things you care about and topics you don't want to see or hear from at all.

You can dictate HOW you get you news as well. It is much easier today to get several different perspectives on the same story from all over the world. Something not possible, or very difficult to do not that long ago.

You don't need Congress to act for you to get news worth knowing. The idea of banning things always makes me wary.

The options to get all the news you want and none you don't and on your schedule are greater now than they ever have been. And it is easy to get started.

The solution to your frustration exists. Explore and enjoy.

Your post really got to me. I have been a lurker and poster here on ATS for almost 5 years now. Has anybody else noticed basically since 2014 started ATS just is not the same?

Arguably it has changed in the past, but this year this place is absolutely dead. NO threads continue on for more than 4 pages unless it is the original thread on the Ukraine for example. Important threads which should be front page are going completely ignored while other crap with MSM sensationalist headlines is pushed to the front.

Another thing, are comment being removed from this site but out of view? More and more I see threads with likw 15 flags 25 stars and 0 replies. What is up with that?

I also feel the community is dissapearing or something. I literally see about 25 different names as the ONLY people active in about 99% of new threads....

Idk perhaps I am looking too far into things that are not there p

Maybe they are put there to give you the idea that you do have an alternative choice? Maybe they were never brought out. I really don't know either.
