States have enough on their plates as it is, what happens if a state goes into bankruptcy? States should stick to what they're good for and that's maintaining basic infrastructure. Some states even have a hard time doing just that. America has enough domestic troubles ATM maintaining this country is difficult enough, now is not the time for expansion, it's the time for fixing.

I don't know how to break it to you, but it is the Feds that have a spending problem. I'd be more concerned about the country going bankrupt than I would most states.

How exactly is that expansion?
