I was just about to post fire in the sky but you beat me to it. I remember seeing that movie when I was seven years old and it scared the pee outta me. the book even more. to this day it is still my favorite encounter of the fourth kind still. and still get the hairs on the back of my neck raised every time I watch/read it 23 years later.

I guess it all depends on what you would define as good.

There are plenty of books out there on the subject that are interesting to read but are totally unreliable. Nothing short of science fiction based around events.

My favorite book on the subject is...

UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go On The Record by Leslie Kean.

I would say this is hands down one of the best books ever written on the subject.

Only the best cases, with hard evidence and multiple witness reports. Speculation is kept at a low. I always believed in UFOs before this book, but after I read it, it became laughably obvious how real the phenomenon is.

Abduction by Jenny Randles is one of the best I have read but you will find it very hard to get. Also Jim Marrs' book Alien Agenda.
