You are contridicting yourself by stating a neutrinos are created from beneath as a fact. They are most likely created by the nuclear fusion outside. But these are all theories...

What on Earth are you talking about? There are solar observatory satellites on the far side of the sun from the Earth called STEREO and their instruments include white-light coronagraphs. That is, instruments recording visible light. stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov...

well, from what i've read about nutrinos, they take a very long time to get to the surface of the sun.

1000's of years, iirc.

but once out, they haul a$$.

i thought that was more interesting than how and where they are made.

Fusion does not occur outside. There is insufficient pressure to initiate or sustain a fusion reaction.

I think you're referring to light. Neutrinos take the direct route but you can sort of think of light (some of it) taking the long way, lots of detours from atom to atom.

ok thanks, it's been a while since i read up on the matter, maybe things had changed, that's why i asked.
It's an interesting subject though, which i think could lead to some interesting discoveries and maybe missing links.

The sun is indeed "invisible" in the visible spectrum, due to the fact that it's intensity blinds you to any discernible detail, all you see is blinding white.(don't try this at home, unless you want every thing to become invisible)
To see the sun in the visible spectrum (as a writhing ball of plasma) , you need to attenuate the higher frequency emissions with filters.

Yes - he knows what he is saying is true but we have believed something that is not true for so long - who would believe him - he is not here to get anyone to believe - it is up to you to go deeper into it.
If it is easier to believe he is a crackpot then that is what will happen - no need to consider his point, case closed.

I would. Even though it's Lindemann and I do not believe anything I've heard from him before, if he could show good reason to believe this then I could.

Why would the Sun produce the EM spectrum with the exception of the narrow range of frequencies visible to humans?

By what process are invisible frequencies converted to visible frequencies that would exclude our eyes from doing the same thing that other "matter" could do?

Perhaps, but the way he keeps grinning throughout the video when saying the more crazy bits makes me think he is not 100% serious. Especially when he says about "Tom Brown asking the astronauts" whether they could see the sun (which is of course easily proven nonsense). Certainly the people he was speaking to right at the end don't think he is: "That was a given... we're just amused!" if I hear correctly...

Anyway, given that this thread has now fallen into the pit it belongs, that's enough from me...
