But fear is a natural response to danger and is not really your enemy. - See more at:

Not the fear I and others might be speaking of. But I can only speak for myself and give my interpretation of what opposes what.
You either understand on a deeper level than words can express or you look at fear as a response as you are saying.
I will give it anyway,
You use the term duality a fair bit Unity, why do you think people who believe fear opposes love would see fear as an enemy?
Are you implying that fear represents the enemy or that is what you should feel towards an enemy as opposed to love representing your friends and
allies and love is what you should feel towards an ally?
Duality, life and death.
We want to live as opposed to wanting to die, most of us anyway,
As intelligent creatures that strive to live and survive wouldn't it be a better way to survive and live if you loved your enemy and they loved
you.
to experience fear so as to understand it as an opposing force to love we should fear those closest to our hearts as they hold a great power over us
and unintentionally or intentionally can do great damage.
this wont make our enemy our friend and our friend the enemy unless duality needs to keep going in our conscious minds and we switch one side with
another as those in power want us to with everything so as to keep us divided, in fact if oneness was ever to exist as so many like to entertain then
the solution is to love your enemy. You do not need to fear your friends to gain this oneness, unless you need to understand how fear opposes love
then yes try fearing those closest to you but don't let the fear overwhelm and manipulate what your initial purpose was to experience such.
