Atlantis station

I was thinking about there being little to no physical proof of Atlantis ever existing, well this got me to think more about why there is no evidence, so my theory is that Atlantis was either a space station or a spacecraft, now if it crashed into the ocean, that may be why we think it is submerged, now your obviously asking if it crashed there should be evidence, well I would think that a civilization as advanced as Atlantis was supposedly been than they probably salvaged what was left.
I would like to know what all of you think, also I am not saying they were from another world, I think atlanteans evolved hear on Earth.

From what i've researched, the Atlans were a group of beings from the Pleides star system, they were NOT very nice people, hostile, genetic experiments etc....

I also came across an article that 'pigs' are genetically linked to humans, and that it was a genetic experiement from atlan time where experiments were carried out with atlans/wild boar, creating the pig. I can't find the article at this point in time sorry...

Or, Atlantis is just the fictional creation of Plato, and maybe American public schools have been decimated to the point to where we now have kids believing that Atlantis, Jurassic Park, and the Netherworld are actuall places.

chapter 39 of job talks about the pleides . the references to half breed and alien genetic experiments and unclean animals (and that particular star) make me think of fallen angels and other similiar stuff.

As with a lot of very old things there is little evidence of them ever being around, i mean its obviously going to be nearly impossible for some kind of written document to survive but as for physical evidence all we have to look at are the geology of the world and for theories to develop based on platos descriptions of where atlantis was. That is why there are so many various location theories but no definite proof of its existence

The source of the Legend of Atlantis is The Timeus written by Plato in 360 BCE. Plato is very specific about it's location: put a string on a globe at the Strait of Gibraltar at the mouth of the Spanish Mediterranean, drape it along the line of lattitude towards the West and see what island continent you 'discover'.

You will come ashore in America, in a part of the country that 'used' to be the Cherokee Nation.

The Cherokees have a very specific origin legend. It says our Ancestors came from Galunlati, the Land Among the Stars.

Read the link to Plato above. Atlantis is a continent, not a space station. There is a Space Shuttle Orbiter named Atlantis. Atlanta, Georgia is named after Atlantis.

Chakotay, that galactic history picture is actually taken from one of Stewarts book, and since I know Stewart personally, I do believe it yes

Does it really matter though, whether real or not? I just like talking about it, bringing another POV across, getting others to think about it a little more i suppose.

Some Cherokee people might take it a little personal, since (cough) some of them think they are Atlanteans and (cough) some of them even think their ancestors are Pleideian. Sure there is.

First and foremost, there is Plato's work.
Next, we have a location on Earth that matches point for point his writings...(The Altiplano in Brazil), including distances, geography, etc.
We have alternating bands of sea and earth, a mountain low on all sides, a canal to the sea.
We have structures of red, black and white stone, just as Plato described.

While it isn't 100% proof...it IS physical evidence that supports the writings...so to claim there isn't any, is a false statement.

I believe that Gazrok is right,to say there is no physical proof is to lie.Plato was very smart at the time and he was usually correct.Now Atlantis may be a spacecraft but I believe (for now) it was an ancient continent with advanced people.

I didnt mean there was no proof, what I meant is there are no remains of an advanced city with skyscrapers, or advanced technologie, I know that platos books are the origonal proof. I'm not sure what Atlantis is, but I hope to find out.
