LONDON � He's called Sheik Terra.

With a Koran in one hand and pistol in the other, the British rapper calls for the murder of non-Muslims, including several world leaders, on a videotape.

The video is well known in one London mosque, whose imam � or leader � is accused of setting up a terrorist training camp in Oregon and whose followers don't like Western media.

Abu Hamza (search), who lost two hands and an eye in Afghanistan, is in jail now but other extremists from among Britain's two million Muslims continue to preach violence, veiling the message to take advantage of some of Europe's most liberal freedom-of-speech laws.

"We cannot tolerate a crocodile in our bedroom," said Sheik Omar Bakri. "U.S. forces in Muslim countries are crocodiles in our bedrooms. So we are not going to give them ice cream."

It seems that some recognize the assault on the Old Europe and the assault will have to be confronted. Europeans in general might not recognize this threat and yet it is already even taking a toll on the conscience of some, just look at the second article. Now I am not sure here on this one but I have not heard of this crap yet in the states but I am sure that I will soon enough.

On his unique intelligence website, To the Point, Wheeler discusses the history of anti-Semitism in Europe � a continent he says is now more influenced by the Islam practiced by immigrants than by Christianity.

Writes Wheeler: "European hatred of Jews is an ancient hate, and periodically erupts from the darkness of men's souls into the light of history. Today in Europe � particularly France � another eruption has begun. It will get worse unless it is fought and opposed.

"It is getting worse because Jews are the Europeans' perennial scapegoat for cultural failure. Old Europe now faces demographic doom because its native inhabitants refuse to have children, and economic doom because they would rather go on vacation than work. You know how bad it is when Consumer Reports currently ranks Mercedes and BMW as the most poorly made of the world's luxury cars.

Young girls born in Europe to immigrant families from Africa are being subjected to ritual genital mutilation, and authorities are doing little to discourage it, a leading women�s rights activist warned.


Somalia-born supermodel and best-selling author Waris Dirie, who has campaigned to end the disfiguring practice she suffered at age five in her homeland, said yesterday that she estimates one in every three African families living in Europe is secretly carrying out the ritual on their daughters. No official figures exist.

The procedure � illegal in most European countries � is especially prevalent in Germany and the Netherlands, as well as in Austria, where an estimated 8,000 girls born into immigrant families have been affected, Dirie said.

�We don�t know who�s doing it and where,� because there are few initiatives to prevent it or to encourage doctors, nurses, social workers, teachers and others to report suspected cases, Dirie said. An exception is France, where there is strong awareness and education, she said.

Given the tone of Europe these days, I'd be willing to bet that a flood of American Christian missionaries would be about as welcome as Cornel West at a cross burning.

I think it is abundantly clear that the more permissive of the European societies are going to be rewarded unmercifully for their generosity and the backlash, I think, is going to be cataclysmic.

Well I have to agree with you both on this one, the 'enlightened' european society forgets that the immigrants do not share in the 'enlightenment' and see the lack of local cultural expression as an opening in which to place the immigrants cultural values. 'Enlightened' peoples are excessively careful not to tread on the percieved 'rights' of immigrants and so do not correct them to the long-held rules of the society they seek to enter.

yes the goal is to surround the vatican and force it to move, thereby weakining its power supposedly. never gonna work though. especially if the EU turns atheist, and now the muslims are seen as the biggest threat over xtianity.

Quite a few missionaries will need to be sent, there are +4million muslims in France alone.

I think i agree with your sentiments ed.... the growing number of muslims in Europe are a source of conflict for the future. The problem only continues to get bigger, and so far European politicians have only fumbled with the issue, some politicians "fighting racism", some "protecting secularism" (it depends on the situation), thus allowing the problem to grow. But these issues will be solved by Europeans themselves. Already there is a backlash in many nations. eg. Great Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands... and for the first time in years they are starting to get popular support.

This is just hilarious. This geopolitical "expert" Wheeler ist just hilarious.

Europeans picked on minorities in the past, on Jews more precisely, and that is bad. Very bad.
But lets solve the problem by picking on another minority and blame them for everything, make THEM a new scapegoat. Also, it is NOT europeans doing that, we need american christians to come here and help us, "save us"

I wonder if he plans to apply his Final Solution on millions of muslims living in the USA. Or are you not "in danger" because your president speaks with God and will be properly advised on what to do.

Well stictly speaking being European I can't see what the hell this guys on about. Anti semitism seems more or less minimal in the UK, mistrust of Islam seems rife though. This reads like the plot of some dire sci-fi novel. An equally frightening plot would incorporate a fundamentalist right wing Xtian plot to evangalise old Europe to death.

I have to agree, take the UK for example. We have a tolerant and open society (despite what the press might say) and we have a very liberal and generous immigration and benefits system. Sadly this leave the UK vulnerable to abuse and has been so.

We have tousands of Eastereuropean and Muslim immigrants arriving every year. Taxes have shot up to cope with this leaving many indiginous people out of pocket. Taxes are still rising, no attempt to regulate benefits or stop immigration has been made. This and many other factors has shifted the voting populace either to abstain, or shift to a radical right wing position.

So far violence has not happened but the word on the street is that it will be just a matter of time, then things will get very ugly, very quickly.

In the UK things are slow to get going, but once they do...

It never ceases to amaze me how scared white people are of brown people. In the USA you will hear the whites whine, "I don't want to become the minority!" They are so scared of losing their privilege in the status quo, that they freak out when anyone else tries to enjoy the same freedoms that they take for granted.

Now Muslims are even scarier to some, more so than their brown countrymen, because they don't believe in the same religion.

This hatred has become tiresome. Jews, brown people, Muslims, gays, yadda, yadda. Move along here, nothing to see here. Just more ignorance.

Does anti-semitism refer to Europeans developing some problems with large amounts of muslim immigrants (wich are semitic and wich indeed is the case) or do Europeans have problems with its Jewish citizens?

I could hardly believe the task of the missionaries is to free us from anti-arab sentiment

That leaves the Jews, well they generally are contributing nicely to our economies and their kids don't have the name to participate in smalltime big nuisance unorganised crime like the moroccan kids are notorious for, but the Europeans in general don't have much warm feelings for the politics of Sharon/settlers etc...

In Europe there maybe some growing sentiments of anti-Zionism and anti-imperialism but the missionaries conveniently fail to make the distinction.

Both are some flavour of colonialism, but the missionaries would like to portrait it as hate against americans and jews.

And just to get it out of my system I hereby say:

First let me make this very CLEAR. I do not hate Arabs, I do not like fundamentalist Islamic 'peoples' that want me to either accept Allah or die. This is not that difficult to understand.

Some Muslims are happy and content to live in a Western society, whist others plot for the time when the can convert the Infidel by the sword.

Lets make sure we both understand the distinction. the Christians are not converting anyone by the sword and haven't for quite some time.

As for the toll on the conscience, you just had a comment talking about the apprehension in the UK of the taxes being raised etc and the 'tension' that is surely there. If you deny this , fine but soon you will not be able to deny it.

As for the Eurabia comment, have you even read some of the mullahs statements? It is there stated goal to get the Muslim populations up and to become the majority that way. If things are so nice in the Middle East then why don't these people stay? Exactly! Look this not a hidden agenda, it has been spoken of openly.

To Europeans I would hate to see you lose your continent because you where not willing to stand up and fight for it. You relaxed immigration policy is destroying your way of life. Look at the history of the crusades, they where fought to hold back muslim expansion. If they where not fought that you would have been born a muslim. It is your turn to defend your land, or you can take a trip with your great grandchildren to Mecca in 50 years. I'm not certain, but I think most of Europe has given up their right to keep and bear arms. The Swiss are an exception, of course. I believe they're all required to own and maintain a military weapon in their homes, as part of their military service obligation. I also believe that the Swiss have a very low crime rate.

That was the first thing Hitler did was take the guns. An armed populace can not be controlled by tyranny.

Yes the Swiss are REQUIRED to keep firearms in the house and are part of the reserves.

We have no homogenous gun laws in europe. In Some Countries you can own a tank, in others only semi auto rifles (which is quite sufficient for self defense)
