So you're saying that even though the government owns the land, they should let Mr. Bundy's cattle graze there as much or as little as Mr. Bundy wants because 'He's been doing it for a long time.' Is that about it?

It boils down, not to Harry Reid, not to tortoises, but to Mr. Bundy refusing to pay further lease payments in 1994. He's used federal land for the past 20 years without paying for it, he's done the exact opposite of what he was asked to do. He's done the exact opposite of what he agreed to do. Again, only because the government is taking action now against Mr. Bundy is he throwing a fit and calling it government overreach.

Article four section three of the constitution says the government can own land and can maintain that land in any way it wants.

Oh, well, one source explains it as the following, A direct violation of Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17 of the Constitution of the action being taken towards Bundy.

So here is what i think happened. Mr Harry nevada promised China businessman that he could find the land for him no problem.
The land was owned by several ranchers Bundy being one of them! All the others were bought out by Reid! Bundy wouldn't budge! Goes back to chi con. and says we have a problem! Chinese hired rogue military as BLM and this IS a "land grab" by Chinese!! After all they hold our debt!! Very scary stuff!!

Can't wait to see how Obama and WH spin this!!

Enough of this posh. A Nevada state common law grand jury is the way to peacefully resolve the situation. No violence is needed. Simply following the supreme rule of the land, The U.S. Constitution, ends this.

Remember, Sheriffs answer to no one but duty and keeping the peace. That is why they are elected. They are your check against this kind of thing. They could serve any indictments they want, if the grand jury is formed legally under state law. All States should still have ways of doing so. If not, petition it into law.

This can all end tomorrow, if you follow the lawful steps.

You are the 4th Branch of Government. The way was left open, enter it.

Think. Who investgated crimes before the F.B.I. was codified? The People. How? Grand Jury.

To those pro status quo, just because you work for the feds, does not mean you do not have answer to state laws for crimes committed against a U.S. person.

I'm not surprised by any of this. This is a VERY real story. Although Alex Jones gets all worked up and, at times, will exaggerate & exploit anything he can, this is different. Apparently, the MS news has even caught wind of the developments and are setting up their giant SAT trucks right outside Bundy's gate.

Kudos to AJ and the Inforwars team for the work they did connecting the dots and the work they are no doubt doing right now to bring this latest injustice to light. The gubbament will take what they want, when they want, however they want, including things that do not belong to them. The Bundy Ranch has been in that family for like 140 years. ALMOST HALF A CENTURY! I bet a lot of the other ranchers and folks they "bought out" were struggling to make end meet when the gubbament peeps showed up with check in hand.

The problem they are running into with Cliven Bundy is this: HE HAS A WORKING, THRIVING RANCH & BUSINESS. He is successful, wealthy, and has been running the family business into the black, not into the ground, and doesn't want or need that gubbament buy out.

It is being reported that Reid or the PTB in NV have (allegedly) already been paid by the Chinese! Guess they told that Chinese global energy guy not to worry, everyone will relinquish their property to the Feds, one way or another.

This story just makes me sick. What happened to AMERICA? I sure hope the Bundy's continue to stand their ground...

You should be really careful using Infowars as a source. From what I can tell there are actually two different stories mixed up here.

The Bundy Ranch

Bunkerville, Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy had issued the threat in response to a long-postponed confiscation of his cattle, which he's been grazing illegally on publicly owned Mojave desert land around Gold Butte in Clark County, Nevada since 1993.

He has been over grazing publicly owned land without a permit for more than 20 years. There is no land grab as it was never Bundy's land to begin with.

In 1998, five years after Bundy began to refuse to pay his publicly subsidized grazing fees in 1993, the BLM finally revoked his grazing permit for failure to pay those fees. Clark County then bought out that permit for $375,000 and retired them permanently to protect the desert tortoise under the Clark County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan.

Sounds like he should have simply paid for the permit. Could have saved a whole lot of trouble.

Cliven Bundy even admits that this is public land and not his.

"I have raised cattle on that land, which is public land for the people of Clark County, all my life."

Laughlin, Nevada and Gold Butte are two different areas. Lake Mead National recreation area and the Colorado River separate these two areas as well as Las Vegas. These two stories appear to be mixing together.

You are more than likely right about the lies. "The joint Park Service/FBI warning: If anyone steps one foot on Federal Land armed in mass they will be arrested and their weapons confiscated"

"They understand this-we have explained it to them-They will be charged with insurrection and they will answer to it in a Federal courtroom. The charge carries a 25 year sentence in Federal Prison. We explained this as well and they acknowledged it and will not challenge it."

IF Harry Reid is pushing a bid to get the land for a solar farm, then I don't see any way he can avoid being forced to resign and being sent to federal prison. Eric Holder could easily end up in the cell next to him if this ends badly. He's likely going to be going there eventually anyway.

We keep hearing about how Bundy stopped paying the grazing fees... Why is everyone ignoring the why? BLM modified the grazing permit... I am curious as to how. I found one source that said part was it banned grazing between march and june... I havent found a source but i also seen they required him to drastically cut size of his herd... Anyone know more about how they changed the grazing permit? If it was an attemt to drive him out in first place, which is what it seems. Who the heck wouldnt fight them all the way? Its his and his families lively hood.

Fox news interviewed the sister of Cliven Bundy and she said they won't let the cattle graze during the spring, which is when the cows eat the most and get the fattest.

She also said Harry Reid was behind this, putting one of his men to run the BLM. The government is snapping up the land.

So it makes sense if the revised grazing permit was to ban grazing during that time, but I can't confirm it.

Artical below says they wanted to prevent grazing from march-june and sep-nov... I havent found what other changes they made. Other one i seen had no mention of fall..I have seen the 52 of 53 ranchers gone from there which leads you to think they are intentionally driving them out.

It goes far beyond this actually. What everyone, including the media, is missing is that Bundy has openly said that he would pay the grazing fees to the state of Nevada instead of the BLM because they weren't honoring the original agreement. Bundy made improvements to the land with his own money and time and maintained the land far above BLM standards. Furthermore, Bundy has attempted to pay the fees to the state numerous times and was told that he couldn't because the BLM maintained the area.....this is a bureaucratic nightmare and unfortunately Bundy is stuck with the short straw. How do you feel about being forced to pay for substandard services? (kinda sounds like Obamacare huh?)

As of this morning BOTH Nevada state militia websites are offline. One because it's used it's allotted bandwidth (which I believe with all the controversy) and the other shows the domain name has expired....even though a WHOIS shows the registration good until 2015. Add to this the cellphone tower problem in the area and it's becoming more of a reality and less of a conspiracy.

Fox cable just reported BLM is pulliung out and calling off cattle round up and will be leaving the Bundy ranch in the next few days....more to come they said. BLM has halted the operation. BLM quoted as saying it's over they are pulling out.

I read that he was over grazing the land. From what I remember reading, the permit was good for 140 head of cattle and the BLM counted over 900. There used to be 53 ranchers and Bundy is now the last so maybe he was taking that into account. Even so the BLM asked if he could maintain 500 or so, IIRC.

Who the heck wouldnt fight them all the way? Its his and his families lively hood.

All that he had to do was pay for the permit. It sounds like he is an angry stubborn man that hates the federal government. How good is that for the livelyhood of his family. If there is going to be public outcry and we are going to make a stand here against the federal governement then we should very damn well get the facts straight first, don't you think?

With so much misinformation going on with this story I would guess that this statement is BS. Harry Reid is not behind any land grab deal as there is no land grab going on. This is and always has been federal land.

So it makes sense if the revised grazing permit was to ban grazing during that time, but I can't confirm it.

Remember that Bundy didn’t have a current permit. He hadn’t paid since 1993, 20 years ago. So what revision? What permit?

Keep in mind he has been using public land without a permit for over 20 years. What changes does Bundy care about? He is going to do whatever he likes.

Yes not only was it cut a year ago but, the land was not anywhere near the ranch. Not sure if the story comes from somebody confused or if it is a an out right hoax.

That is not how this works and Bundy knows it.

Bundy has attempted to pay the fees to the state numerous times and was told that he couldn't because the BLM maintained the area.....this is a bureaucratic nightmare and unfortunately Bundy is stuck with the short straw.

No nightmare, no short straw. Just a stubborn, angry old man. Bundy knows how to do this as he has purchased permits from the BLM before as with all the other ranchers that were in that area. You don’t pay the state for a permit of usage on federal land!

16,000 other ranchers across the west seem to be able to make a living paying their grazing fees.
