It is inevitable that there will be a civil war in the US between the government and the people. Bill Clinton had a worry, and that worry was about the three percenters which no matter what will choose to fight against the power. That is, 3% of the total US population. That is a lot of people.

What's more, that number will increase as the tyranny raises it's ugly head and take aim at the people. So we should be bracing for what is to come. Anyone knowing history knows this. It's always a losing battle on the side of the power.

In Connecticut, the 3%'ers, also known as the "3" are said to have made the threat to come against those responsible for passing an unconstitutional gun law aimed at disarming the populace. One bullet, one elected official. In other words they threatened to kill those responsible.

It's going to get hard before it gets better. The question of course will be if the general populace will choose freedom over tyranny. Most people only want pleasures and lazy living over freedom and self rule. But we shall see.

I only wish that we didn't have to go through this because elected officials should be working for the people, and if they would just do that job we would all have peace.

Anyway, that's my thought on this.

Showing up with assault sniper-rifles, weapons drawn on an unarmed individual indicates a breach of peace is in the works...

Stefan Molyneux explains it very clearly the government's attempt for dispute resolution:

"...the government's attempt to resolve the matter administratively and judicially which is: give us all your cattle, which we will sell to pay the fines we impose upon you to save the tortoises we are currently murdering ourselves [note: due to lack of funding they will euthanize the tortoises end of the year] OR we will shoot your family. This is called a resolution of dispute on the part of the government."

It's worth listening to The Truth About the Nevada Rancher's Standoff yourself...

I'd like to make my second prediction on ATS, which I'm pretty sure will keep my success ratio at 100%.

Nothing will come of this. At all. A deal will be reached.

Too late, the Government has already crossed the line.

Seems more and more that the US might have to bring the troops home to defeat Americans ..

But are the troops coming back willing to murder their family and fellow camaraderie? Or are they going to turn around and look and the people who put the gun in their hand and stand up for the little guys? I hope the latter.

It is his property that his family gave to the state of Nevada along time ago and in return his family was allowed to graze their cattle and use all the water they needed FOREVER as a thank you from the Government for giving the state this property so they could have a good water supply. Even the Federal government recognized it, till the tyrants took over that is and played the endangered turtle crap.

I guess the Turtles were OK as long as these cattlemen paid their grazing fees to the Fed which is nothing more than extortion and one hell of an unfair tax. This farmer in question is exempt from any state or federal fees since he is the one who gave them the land in the first place!

The state knows this guy is right but will not send him any help to keep the BLM from harassing him or his cows. A real governor would have chased off these thugs.

well the feds have started it...
looks like the people want to end it
is this the beginning of the armed rebellion?

all i can say is

Jump little froggies, jump!

for so long now ive been reading about the "next civil war" and how "the people would take the country back" (even tho the country never went anywhere, they are just sore they lost an election).

so to all you "hard chargers" out there that have been spouting off about how "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of patriots" im calling you out.

nows your chance! rise up and "take the country back"! i doubt there will be a better chance in the next 2 years.

now, am i really trying to incite violence? no! see, of all the thousands on this site, perhaps 3, less than 1%, are unstable enough to actually do anything, and they arent waiting for me to push them over the edge. the rest are just spouting fantasy and sour grapes.

however, violence and the overthrow of the best gov on the planet isnt something to joke about, or to take lightly. the best weapon to fix the gov is your vote, not your gun, or your "civil war" fantasy.

That's a great idea...let's do that

totalitarian government

Totalitarianism or totalitarian state is a term used by some political scientists to describe a political system in which the state holds total authority over the society and seeks to control all aspects of public and private life wherever possible. ...

Of, relating to, being, or imposing a form of government in which the political authority exercises absolute and centralized control over all aspects of life, the individual is subordinated to the state, and opposing political and cultural expression is suppressed: "A totalitarian regime crushes all autonomous institutions in its drive to seize the human soul" (Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr.)

Yep...I'd say the US is well on it's way to a totalitarian state.

says the guy with the freedom to say anything they want on a forum WITHOUT fear of getting blackbagged and disappeared on the internet that the gov is willingly giving up.

yep, thats total control.

It may be difficult to swallow....but the truth is the truth. The Germans didn't want to believe they were becoming a fascist dictatorship either....they preferred instead, to turn a blind eye to the truth that was all around them...

1. Powerful And Continuing Nationalism – Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

2. Disdain For The Recognition Of Human Rights – Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of “need.” The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

3. Identification Of Enemies/Scapegoats As A Unifying Cause – The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, (Christians, Constitutionalists, conservatives, 2nd Amendment supporters, 1st Amendment supporters, 4th Amendment supporters, Ron Paul supporters) etc.

4. Supremacy Of The Military – Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

5. Controlled Mass Media – Sometimes the media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

6. Obsession With National Security – Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

7. Corporate and Government Power Are Intertwined And Their Combined Power Is Protected – The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite. (This is the actual definition of fascism according to Gerald Celente’s historical description of Mussolini’s opinion on the matter).

These are just 7 examples....I suggest you read the entire article...might open your eyes.

17 Signs That The United States Is Becoming A Totalitarian Police State

5 of those 7 are major planks of the republican party.

just saying.

Regardless of fair use (not to mention the fact that the family has been there since the late 1800s and have jumped through the read tape since),

Armed Federal Agents?! Why is that ok????

This is an over-reach and it is INTENTIONAL.

Folks have plenty reason to stand up with this family!

edit on 10-4-2014 by raedar because: (no reason given)

so, youre argument is that since the family has been there since the 1800's then its their land.

guess you forgot about the native americans. should we give back all their land too?

lol well if these idiots are the leaders of a rebellion it will last all about an hour. Hey lets put our plan on you tube and let them know we are coming. And also whomever thinks the goverment is totalitarian needs to buy a dictionary so they can look up the meaning of the word.

Nah i wouldnt give it more than 20 minutes, the Simpletons dont understand if it escalates in to a fire fight it will be used as an excuse to pass legislation against the better half of gun owners. They don't even have a game plan, its comical.

I'm thinking there wouldn't be anywhere enough support within the legislature at that point to pass any kind of gun control at all. The pres could take out his pen or pick up his phone, but then he would have a full scale revolution on his hands. I don't believe there would be enough people in the military who would fire on US citizens. Those who did, would most likely wake up to a hand grenade in their sleeping bag, jmho.

It seems Harry Reid is tied up in this too. Evidently he and his son are pretty chummy with a chinese company that wants to build a solar plant in that particular area. Hmmmmm, I think I smell a rat. I know its from infowars, but its linked from Drudge and even Fox is running with this one.

www.infowars.com...

(sorry, if I posted the link wrong.)

Even if Clive Bundy is in the wrong, and I don't believe he is, it is time for the government to back the hell off. No need to run off to Nevada tho, if this blows up, its gonna spread FAST.

peace

I said this in another thread about this but it bears saying again. I am all for a good revolution. However starting a revolution for the wrong reasons bugs me. The Rancher is/has essentially been stealing and while I seriously dislike the Bureau of Logging and Mining they are unfortunately in the right on this one. now protesting Fracking? get your guns, I am in.

over here in aus the people are protesting against fracking in a little town on the nth coast called Bentley...feel free to step up and bring your guns and join the protest

So the Fed wanted to get that guy and charge him for a crime... He resisted but he wasn't killed... And now the militia is coming in to protect him. This is all so stupendous. It's a setup scandal. "How could you work for this" applies to them both. At least making this scandal spectacular will lead them to treat this case even more carefully. Now it can be a high profile court case. What a show. Why didn't the guy just keep the cattle on his own land? Why would he keep too many cattle to fit? What are these people upset at, lack of anarchy? Watch the trial or stay out of it, I don't see how armed guards are going to help. This guy is going to have siege laid on his house. How spectacular. All because he lets his cattle run rampant #ting all over federal property. How dare him. How dare everybody.

Really? Is that documented? Anyway this whole story stinks, it's a Fox Nation story so obviously the whole thing is a setup. What's this guy hiding?
