Not a bad story. decent plot, but low character development.
I like how it starts out with the please ignore stuff..obviously a play on how society is becoming an invisible thing with the advent of the digital age.
The arc where the main character realizing his limitations were simply an illusion was a nice twist.

I took it as more of a modern day morality play...

A short story should be more than two sentences. I could be wrong though.

My daughter won't stop crying and screaming in the middle of the night.
I visited her grave and ask her to stop, but it doesn't help.

EEE...Yah, now that was an eerie short story. Gees, I guess some short stories may come out of this thread.
