Over the vast evolutionary timescales we're talking about here, there must be traces of every known and possibly quite a number of unknown viral RNA in our genome.

Could it be though, most shockingly, that these remnant chains of viral infections down through evolutionary time...could be what drove the advancement of our species here?

The biological kickstart to intelligence and civilisation?

Weird to imagine that without such viral infections in our ancient ancestors, we may never have developed into modern Humans.

Uh huh. We're "superorganisms" - made of a cooperative conglomeration of viruses, bacteria and other bugs and germs. Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, "We are all one."
