I dunno what to think... all logic says bugs w/ a tad of photoshop ... especially since "real fairies".. heh... are supposedly mostly wingless and/or larger.

So I'll chime in with strangely anthropomorphic insects... if the photographer is a straight shooter.

I'd love this to be real, though, on some level... though on some level, I don't, as it would be too darned weird.

There probably are sentient, human-looking but not quite human thingies about, though, if there's any truth to all the lore... and there is usually some truth to the tales.

Either way, cool pics... and thanks for bringing it to the attention of the site.

S&F !

Great entertaining thread ! Haven't laughed like that in a while !!

Although, next time I would recommend a disclaimer with the mention
"Graphic Warning - Butt Naked Fairies Ahead".

Note to self: Remember the word Gnats...

This is a cloud of insects. Out of focus and camera shutter open.

Those who believe in fairies know that they are always just out of sight and too quick to be caught like this.

Regards

Please people, grow up!

But, but...what if we're like Peter Pan and don't want to grow up?

amazing pic, those wee buggers have tried and failed to spoil many a camping trip of mine.Apart from one time in Balmaha, the worst place i have ever been for midgies.
I wonder if 'skin so soft' repels faeries as well

I, for one, will ignore my mind when it says, 'It's insects,' or, 'It's photoshopped.' And at least for a moment, I will suspend disbelief and say, "I DO believe in fairies!"

You don't really want to live in a world where there's no more magic, do you? Then repeat after me: "I DO believe in fairies!"

Seeing those fairies makes my skin itch. I'm pretty sure they're out for blood, since they really look like a swarm of hungry mosquitoes. (I'm pretty sure anyone who's ever been in or around a swampy area where they fly during the day knows what they look like when the sun catches them.)

To add, cant help but notice all pics are OUT OF FOCUS (BLURRY=)

According to the Jnanavatar" i.e. an incarnation of wisdom, Sri Yukteshwar, one of the greatest Saints of our our times, in the book Autobiography of a Yogi, after his death he ascended to one of the highest ethereal realms of heaven called Laktishovara and came back to Earth in flesh and blood for a few hours to his disciple Paramhamsa Yogananda. In Laktishovara there are faries and gnomes goblins and ettins. I trust his word that there are. He did reach enlightenment after all. One of the very few beings that has. I am connected to him because I became a Solar Kriya Yogi last year and was initiated by one of his disciples, Yogiraj Siddanath where now I have the ability to see the seat of consciousness, the hamsa swan and my third eye in meditation. If one day I grow more powerful in my Kriya and develope my power to Astral travel like my uncle has I will visit Laktishovara and report back on the faries existence.

Hmmm...you may have a point there.

I don't want to grow up either, but I do want to maintain some semblance of reality. Just some though.

They can't be fairies because they are not wearing boots......

Maybe they are pixies instead.

this is of Course if they are not an Insect or they are a Bipedal insect
Like the Praying mantis

Humanoid insect

Not real ?

highly unlikely Legends and Lore

Here a Candidate

to bad there isn't a video or is their ? just to see how they actually move in flight . or any Sentient in them.

as im writing this someone may of debunked this ..Fern Gully Cottingley Fairies like location ,

And this Guy that took these photos a Professor at a university ? and what is he!

The 53-year-old Director of Manchester Institute for Research and Innovation in Art and Design (MIRIAD)

www.news.com.au...

Professor John Hyatt

Director of MIRIAD
www.art.mmu.ac.uk...

Figures ...

Well if you look around the 25 sec to 33sec mark in this video

it look like the creature is grabbing the foot of another in flight, I could be wrong

now did we have fairy's in ancient legends
