Soooo, if the "shooter is dead" and there was no "second shooter", why is the base still on lockdown and why are the families being told they will open a shelter for those displaced?
Saying now that the press conference is imminent....

Let's not forget the shooter was widely reported as being in custody earlier.

Enough is enough, I think it's time we start letting our Military personnel carry their sidearms on base.

ETA: Obama talking about people feeling safe on base... You know what would make them feel safer? Not being defenseless.

That sound more like the political spin that would come out of MSNBC.

FOX is now speaking about Muhammad 'BOOKER' again ...
They are saying that he's still out and about ....
They are saying that he could be connected to this.....

Just a while back they were saying it was absolutely separate ....

They keep going back and forth ....

Now the Pentagon is saying they are two separate incidents ...

UGH ...

I don't know what Fox you're watching, but Smith just said the FBI has said this isn't connected and that Booker is "no longer a threat". What ever the hell that's supposed to mean. However they have gone away from the jihad thing as of now.

Typical of faux news,...not that the others are trustworthy but social media wise, the whole FB Jihad page and messages look faked.

News feed- They are saying again the shooter is-age 34 year old Ivan Lopez.

Of course, if this was just two soldiers having an altercation ... how on earth does that spill over to 14 injured, 4 dead? Seems like an awful sloppy fight with all respect to the dead.

What happened to the one in custody? Are we so conditioned to think that they are reporting incorrectly that we always take what is whitewashed and released?

I wonder if the dispute was over a love interest? It's not like it would be the first time someone completely flipped their snip over the object of their affection.

Yeah that's always my first thought. My close friend, a medic, is at Ft Hood just got back from his FIFTH tour in Afghanistan. He works with people like this. Very worried. Sad as hell if that's what this was.
