Judge Judy is a psychopath and a bad influence on society.

Ive felt this way for a long time. Im not interested in how rich, how popular or how educated she is, so please. The way that woman treats people is the opposite of how respectful people act, and I so hope she is acting but I don't think so. Not only is she disrespectful, she makes her mind up even if the accused person admitted a small thing that wasn't even relevant. The others like Judge Joe Brown and the other female judges and normal people, they are fair from what I have seen, yes I know Brown was arrested recently but wasnt it for arguing with a judge? I don't remember but I like him. I hope for Judys sake that Karma isn't real because shes screwed if it is, you just cant go through life treating people like that and judging their fate based on irrelevant material at that. Sometimes she makes me wonder why she even asks them the questions, quite often actually. Yes I can turn it and I do, but my grandma likes it and when I visit she is on and Judy gets lucky and somehow ends up on the tube at my house. I feel bad for talking bad about that physically fragile , emotionally unstable/borderline personality lady but if your a pretty girl with a boyfriend, don't go before her, you will lose.

Nothing you see on TV, does not follow a script.

Its all scripted, Judge Judy, Or who ever, has no real authority and is No more real than any other character played by any other actor.

I can't stomach that woman. The holier-than-thou Sanhedrin attitude that oozes from her is a real treat to behold. Why is this soulless monster still on TV? A better question is: who in the hell can handle, much less enjoy, watching her berate and belittle people???

Judge Alex on the other hand is an actual human being who treats people with respect and seems to give everyone a fair shake in his courtroom, you know, like a judge should. I have the utmost respect for Judge Alex, whereas Judy is just a piece of human trash.

Been many many years since I had a tv, and its awful sometimes when having a conversation, because even though its a person stood in front of me, I know its the tv I'm talking to.

Its called "entertainment". And if you thought tv is/was for viewers to watch...you are dead wrong. In case you dont realize it...its only purpose is to sell products.

And yes...even the "news". Even the commercial tv stations arent really free...you patronize their companies/stations etc...to be able to "subscribe" to their commercial free television.

In itself? Even that is a commercial....for buying/subscribing to "commercial free" programming!

Judge Judy, Mathis, Brown, Marilyn Milian, Peoples Court etc are the scripted-for-your-entertainmet. Period...and hoping youll but stuff advertised.

Even Jerry Springer was quoted when asked about the awfulness and guests on his show as saying "Its a SHOW. Its just a SHOW!".

She makes my skin crawl! I wish she would go back to Eternia. My nickname for her is Skeletor because she is a boney evil villain. Judge Alex is the best in the business next to Milian on Peoples Court.

I think she is just good at reading people when they lie or are being a certain way. A lot of the people she is "wicked" towards actually do have it coming. People have their heads up their blanks and nobody can tell them different attitudes. It would get old dealing with them. Humility provides the best lessons in life, and brings forth truth.

Thanks for the great rant, couldn't agree more. She is an inhuman horrible thing, disgusting in every way. If she were to talk to me like that, they would have to lock me up, because I would throw my chair at her. Her show should be taken off the air, this shows human beings how not to act towards each other. She is complete filth, and t.v. trash.

I find it abhorrent she's been on the air for so long. She merely promotes her ludicrous behaviour and give back pats to all the crazy women out there willing or wanting to emulate her, or already have that type of personality.

I have met a fair number of older ladies through friends and family that have similar traits, and I find them all lonely, bitter people, claiming the opposite.

"I'm not really like this, even though some people say that. They are just XYZ..." Yeah, yeah...

Ugh! Why watch any of those shows? The court shows, the daytime talk shows... they all do nothing more than parade around the notion that people are just trash. You are not the father! Jerry, Jerry, Jerry! It's disgusting! More than 90% of all if it isn't even real, the guests are actors, the audiences are actors. I'm sure it's more than half the reason conservatives think the way they do about their fellow Americans.

As someone who has to deal with a few dozen subordinates, I can tell you that reading people is possible without treating them like that. You are more likely to be lied to when you blatantly disrespect people like that. The trick is to not take things personal.

When you sit there and shout, "Liar, liar, liar!" at someone it just makes the mediation process go downhill.

I don't plug for Democrats. I could have expanded on my post by stating Liberals would just want them in therapy... but there's enough Liberal/Progressive bashing around here.
