So I came across this article-

South Africa's government will distribute coloured and flavoured condoms among students to end "condom fatigue", the health minister has said

South Africa to use flavoured condoms to tackle HIV

I thought HIV/AIDS was more likely to be transmitted in manners other than oral sex, but
illogical policies like this are nothing new to my country.

Thabo Mbeki, Nelson Mandela's proceeding president

Mbeki has received worldwide criticism for his AIDS stance. He questions the link between viruses and AIDS and believes that the correlation between poverty and the AIDS rate in Africa was a challenge to the viral theory of AIDS. His fate was not helped by Health Minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang and the overhaul of the pharmaceutical industry in South Africa. The delay in distributing antiretroviral drugs is attributed to the ban he placed on their use in public state hospitals, and is also linked to the estimated deaths of some hundreds of thousands. Thabo Mbeki has also been criticised for responding to negative comments made about his government by accusing critics of racism.

Jacob Zuma, South Africa's current president

The trial also generated political controversy when Zuma, who at the time headed the National AIDS Council, admitted that he had not used a condom when having sex with the woman who now accuses him of rape, despite knowing that she was HIV-positive. He stated in court that he took a shower afterwards to "cut the risk of contracting HIV". This statement was condemned by the judge, health experts, and AIDS activists. The popular South African comic strip, Madam & Eve, and well known political cartoonist, Zapiro, repeatedly lampooned the matter. HIV educators emphasised that this would do nothing to prevent HIV transmission

So there you have it folks , cherry flavoured condoms, AIDS not existing, and taking showers after you rape
someone (allegedly) will keep you from this terminal disease. Just trying to keep everyone informed!

I've been educated in the AIDS awareness programs since the age of 7 and it has honestly instilled the fear
of God into me when I come into contact with any human being whenever I have an open scratch or
get into an intimate situation with a female. I would just like to think the people in charge are at least trying
to find an answer to this problem that is PLAGUING us.

Instead, we have AIDS orphans -

An AIDS orphan is a child who became an orphan because one or both parents died from AIDS. In statistics from the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the term is used for a child whose mother has died due to AIDS before the child's 15th birthday, regardless of whether the father is still alive.[1] As a result of this definition, one study estimated that 80% of all AIDS orphans still have one living parent.[2] There are 70,000 new AIDS orphans a year.[3] By the year 2010, it is estimated that over 20 million children will be orphaned by AIDS.[4] Because AIDS affects mainly those who are sexually active, AIDS-related deaths are often people who are their family's primary wage earners. The resulting AIDS orphans frequently depend on the state for care and financial support, particularly in Africa.[5] The highest number of orphans due to AIDS alive in 2007 was in South Africa[

Stay safe out there people! Make sure your package looks purple and tastes like banana, shower often,
and we can fight this epidemic!

No, by intercourse. The chances of contracting this disease are mitigated
by just... not going there, Oral is meant to be the safe place as far as Africa is concerned,
Do you really think this is not a step in the wrong direction, I mean , for god's sake,
I am only speaking out of honesty here, I've seen my co-workers and
friends that just screw hookers and just do not give a continental fukc about
what they bring home to their wives and girlfriends, and their wives and girlfriends
don't mind that much about spreading it whenever their husbands aren't watching,

No , I don't think flavoured condoms are going to help, not until
you get people to actually wear them. You could make it neon coloured
and taste like beer, guess what, from my experiences, you're
still probably not going to get anyone to wear one. And so the
AIDS cycle spins, where it stops , nobody knows
