Why are my post disappearing?

It doesn't seem like a nestled quote problem. Check this post from me, which only has 1 level of quote: www.abovetopsecret.com... The problem is still there - click "quote" to see the original message.

For my post to show properly, as well as ANY quoted replies, the symbol must be removed.

Its been an issue since the site update. I wish I could type the symbol, but you can see it if you click "quote" on my reply (no need to post it, just have a look see).

The symbol is:

Testing to see if > does the same... Nope! Just the opening tag (in coding terms). If you close it, you wont be able to see either symbol, but you will be able to see the rest of the post. Quote my post to see the "hidden" stuff.

You have three members listed as being quoted in the post. This may be the actual problem.

However, there is also a number of 'edit by's' included and some look normal while others do not. While I don't think the 'edit by's are the primary problem, I've noticed they can really skew a post if they are 'broken' through trimming a quote.

Its not a

tag issue, thats different, but it manifests in roughly the same way.

Well, in a way, its kinda neat!

You can pass secret messages in public sight, only seen if someone quotes you!
