Haiku is an acquired taste as is most art that doesn't come from the networks or cable.

I get acquired tastes… and the "Ugh, who writes haiku's" was mainly stemmed in that I just don't know anyone who seeks to Haiku as such I don't have a understanding of what drives them outside of the challenge of putting a lot of expression into a tiny medium/container.

Lastly, thanks for everyone who added their Haiku's or even decided to comment really.
