The other night on Coast to Coast AM they had an opening guest (just for a few minutes) that was a geologist, Jim Berkland, who specializes in
earthquakes and served for 20 years in Calif. He said that the Northridge quake was a 8+ or 9 quake but that the authorities had revised it to allow
for insurance coverage of the damage. I'm sorry for the lack of links and details but I'm leaving on an overseas trip and have been turning my hours
around to avoid jet lag which has left me a bit foggy on details…. If anyone heard the show and can step in with the specifics that would be great!
So no, I don't believe 7 is the highest possible quake there….

I have been saying here in this site over and over and over and over that they do this all the time. They regularly downgrade the magnitudes of quakes
by HUGE levels. I keep trying to explain this to people here and unfortunately most people refuse to listen to it, and then you have an onslaught of
what I believe are government shill posters here.......
and they immediately start attacking you when you start trying to point this out to people. Thank god someone like Berkland then said that. I've been
trying to explain that to people here for a very long time. They actually will even turn down the intensity on the machines so that they don't
resister the quakes as high as they really are. So that if someone actually was to really investigate it, they won't be able to prove it.
They can just say, "oh we made a mistake, we had the machines turned down". I brought that up just a few days ago here in an earthquake thread, and I
was immediately attacked and got some posts deleted immediately.

Well i disagree. My father's a petroleum engineer who knows a lot about geology (don't hate me, you drive cars too...) and he said the san andreas
fault could possibly result in part of cali going into the sea....
so anyone who says it can't, show me your credentials - are you a geologist or seismologist? or did you just read that somewhere?
He's right. It most certainly can. The other stuff is just nonsense BS. San Andreas and New Madrid are both practically totally safe and nothing at
all to worry about. Look the other way, go back to your daily routine, all is well.
They don't want to create a panic, and they don't want to cause economic issues. That's the supposed reasoning. And every time these types of topics
come up, the paid internet shills flock to the discussions as well. And if the mods here want to delete posts for saying that, it's been proven in
both wiki leaks and the Snowden files that it is true the government pays people to do that.
