A shooting star is a meteor, which will move much faster than what was filmed here, as will space debris.

I know I didn't realize until after I wrote it and was a little to lazy to edit it, I appreciate the catch though!

Hmmm, I've probably seen 10 or 12 shooting stars in my life & I reckon without anything other than personal memory I'd say they were travelling around the same speed as the op's ufo . Im in Aus. & we are a fairly laid back crew here perhaps that extends to "our" shooting stars .
