Best online emulator? Need suggestions.

Ive recently found myself in a situation far away from my gaming consoles. All i have is my old crappy laptop here and wanted to try out some console emulators. I used to use one long ago, but no longer remember the name or anything about it.

What are some good ones out there, id rather get your advice than the trial and error method.

Probably only gonna look for the old nintendo system games,

it's been awhile but I will look up what I was using, I let you know as fast as I can. for snes here is a website www.zsnes.com... for roms on all it will take me a day or 2 to find the cd, dvd's I have them all on. I will u2u you and see if you want any of them. the same with the emulators. it has been about 2 yrs since the last time I used them and about 10yrs ago when I 1st started using them. I don't play games anymore, don't have the time.

Do they have to be online or software you can install?
if you need a certain rom let me know I probably have it.
