This is the bit "Belief among some", because Obama doesn't believe he should be stopped, but YOU should Putin because some *not him* believe.

Could have said other things like "We are both big powerful large countries and we have learn from past incursions that we should not be picking on smaller countries".

I am not trying to defend Obama but to be fair he also pointed out that, yes, the US did invade Iraq and Afghanistan (i realize many more but speaking recently) but they never kept control on paper like Russia is doing.

I am all for what Russia did but as far as the war of words the US gets the upper hand because their real ambitions were kept under their breath while Russia is being way more 'straight up' ( an admirable trait in my book) which doesn't give the nearly as much rhetoric to hide behind as the US.

I think I've come to believe that Obama is really just a mouth that grew a body. The body doesn't really do anything of substance and if he stops talking, he'll disappear. So naturally we get statements like in the OP.

Agreed. Defense of his statement on this one is pathetic. Deflection is weak and relative comparisons to make a fool like intelligent....reflect on the one doing it, when the statement from a sitting President is THIS tone deaf, insulting and outright reckless to the sensibilities of a good % of the planet.

It's like he's trying to push and push the rage factor against the United States. As if it's his goal to piss off the world as deeply as in as lasting way as he can personally manage before he steps down and gets out of the way. (sigh)

I'm not a right wing yokel, but America does do that. I don't think Obama has bullied any small counties. Not that I remember and I'm a political junkie. :p however America has bullied multiple other countries.

Obama lives in a bubble of his own design.

Within that bubble, everyone obeys, everyone needs government, everyone is a victim, everything he does, is good and right.

He is so insulated from the real world, and the impact that his policies have on it, that it is impossible for him to see/recognize the truth.
