Hello...Anyone out there?

Yes, you!

I assume you are looking at this thread because you are a fan of the legendary band called Creed. For those of you who haven't heard of the band before take a listen to some of their music below:
Its a shame they've split up because they were due to release another album this year and apparently they had most of the songs written and/or recorded. Feel free to share any music from similar groups - I miss Creed!

Actually I used to be....before Scott Stapp developed his Jesus complex. In 1999 took my son to his first concert CREED. He was more impressed with the opening band call Sevin Dust. But there first two albums were stellar rock albums, full of hard driving bass, and melodic riffs.

Loved them! 1999 was a very good year for them.

Thank you for the memory lane trip.

When they first came out I hated them, their singer was trying too hard to sound like Eddie Vedder - The Pearl Jam Singer - and their songs were kind of bland and boring.
My opinion still hasnt changed.

I am one of those RARE 45 year olds that actually knows many of this band's songs. I also like Evanescence, Hollywood Undead, Linkin Park, Nickleback, and others. I happen to like music that is melodic and has at least decent vocals.

Hey man. I'm 51 and listen to RUSH on the dailey. From the south but hate country music with a passion. I am currently going thru an Avenge SevenFold foray. I also like this band call Volbeat. Mad guitars and heavy bass. They have a song called "Still Counting" The first few lines of this song are

"Counting all the asreholes in the room, I guess I'm not alone. Your a liar & cheater & fool, your just like me yoo-hoo. I tell you again my littel friend mister perfect don't exist. Counting all the asre-holes in the room I guess I'm not alone"

I have actually requested this verse to be played at my wake. Yea, I'm an asre-hole.

Kind of like Pearl Jam. Bland and boring. Probably why they sound so much alike.

Won't lie though I like a few songs from both bands.

For the OP to call them "legendary" though, come on! I hope you weren't serious.

Avenged Sevenfold. I can dig them. They remind me of Metallica. Saw them live 2 years ago in Jacksonville Florida and man, there were probably only 900 people there. IT was the saddest thing I've ever seen.

S&F Cool Topic!

Hey! I also love Creed & wish they get back together or at least reform the best they can....Coming from a family of musicians of all kinds of music Maternally & Paternally, I love all music. I'll be 50 mid August. My 1st 3 albums for my 12th BDay were, Kiss, Black Sabbath, & Meatloaf's Bat Outta Hell. People though I was a Devil's Daughter lol! They should hear what I listen to now lol!

I wish this works this time, my fave Creed song BEFORE seeing the video, so I can relate to both as when I've cried, looked the same.....bloody...lol! I refrain from outwardly crying now lol!
Wishing this works, if not, it is Creed's, " One Last Breath. "

No offense. I just wanted to point these vid's out:

I never was a fan of Creed. I always thought he sounded too much like Cher.
Apparently, I'm not the only one who thunk this:

Dave Grohl makes fun of Creed
