You're talking about violations of UN resolutions and international law. If anyone, the United Nations should be doing something about it. Syria, Ukraine, Southern Africa, and North Korea aren't anywhere near the North Atlantic. So it's not really a matter for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, as I see it.
Good point. Sorry, I should have said UN then or maybe just America.
We fought the world 50 years ago and with help of Russia we won...
Military might doesn't mean anything in the 21st century.

Cal my dear....are you having a rant?
Sit down and have a nice cup of sweet tea.
There just isn't enough NATO to go round sorting all that lot out.
I'm not being sarcastic by the way....if you knew me you'd know I'm not...just silly Brit humour.

Yeah, go establish a no fly zone over N.Korea.
First let me get some popcorn and clean my big screen TV from the cuppa I just sprayed over it.

Does North Korea actually have an airforce?
Without air superiority it's quite easy

The reason they aren't doing anything is because NATO and the governments of North Korea, Russia, Syria, Iran and Israel are all secretly on the same side...well their top-most-ranking individuals anyway. It's just the people of Earth vs. the Elite, and that is all it ever has been, and that is all it ever will be.

Please do what?
Enforce a no fly zone?
Why?
Why waste good men on the scum of the earth?
Sanctions have turned the North into a 3rd world, job done... It is now the responsibility of the people of North Korea to rise up and remove there dictator

Why would america need to do something half the world away?

Ok....but all the violators youre mentioning are in the areas of the Pacific, Mediteranean, Black, Arabian, China etc...seas and oceans basically.
So why again should the NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORG get involved when its not...frankly...in their encompassing areas???
Just the opposite. They should stay out of it.

I agree but the problem is..
Evil prevails when good men fail to act
NATO has the power to stop it
But they won't, for the simple reason that the worlds safety will be put at risk

Yeah, why is it America's duty to police the world? Who elected America? People hate America enough already.
Sure, it's sad when countries fight each other and innocent people get killed. But this is the way of the world as long as there have been countries to fight. And before that tribes fought against tribes. That's how the world does business. That's how regional conflicts are settled (or not).
I think it's a much better policy to generally stay out of other people's regional conflicts unless they directly threaten to expand into global conflict.
And if you live someplace where they're lobbing missiles at each other, do what you need to do to get out of there. But it's up to you as an individual. Not America.edit on 26-3-2014 by Blue Shift because: (no reason given)
