The last I heard, they launched another around a year ago? But anyone know what its for?

Anti-Satellite warfare? Spying? Or emergency pod that can attach to the ISS?
Anyone have any clues on the latest info? I find the project so interesting!

I was thinking that if say, China somehow took out some of our most needed satellites, this X-37
could be launched quickly with micro satellites, and re-establish a comm link.

You know as much as the rest of the general public. Probably more since you know it exists. It does have a decent payload area. I know there are treaties against weaponizing space, but I'm sure if anything could be adapted, the x-37 would be.

Not that big a payload area. It's only about the size of a pickup truck bed. The whole thing isn't much bigger than that.

True. I'm impressed it has that much since it can orbit for 9+ months.
Makes you wonder what we don't know about that can do better.

Not sure the validity of the info but at the end of this ARTICLE it makes the suggestion that it may be deploying target micro sats. to test new area denial DEW weapons.
