This is in Mexico, but could easily be a few roads in California too.

Whats so fascinating about SnowFlakes? There's no two that are alike, and when I think about the math in that statement, I get a headache, LOL. The last pic is an Electron Microscope view of an small area on the snowflake.

Being an Aussie i don't know much about snow . Are the flakes always symetrical and do they always have 6 main arms ?

According to Wikipedia..

"Since the micro-environment (and its changes) are very nearly identical around the snowflake, each arm tends to grow in nearly the same way. However, being in the same micro-environment does not guarantee that each arm grow the same; indeed, for some crystal forms it does not because the underlying crystal growth mechanism also affects how fast each surface region of a crystal grows. Empirical studies suggest less than 0.1% of snowflakes exhibit the ideal six-fold symmetric shape. Very occasionally twelve branched snowflakes are observed; they maintain the six-fold symmetry.

First up thank you for your answer . So basically one in a thousand have 6 fold symmetry and its not guaranteed that each arm will be the same . Still one has to wonder is there a hidden message mother nature is sending much like the golden ratio that is exhibited on some sea shells and plants .

With all the panic going on in these uncertain times, many forget just how easy the transmission of bacteria/germs/virus's can get transferred by handling money. Just think of all the unprotected hands your cash and coins have been in contact prior to your handling them.
