Been awhile, but haven't forgotten this thread... some really great shots/pics on here!

BTW if your interested, Forbes just released an article with the 2019 WildLife Photographer of the year Competition. the photo below I thought was fantastic (and probably captured on a massive 'burst mode' setting). This Link here: Forbes Wildlife Photographer of the Year to see all the pics you have to scroll down till it says "continue" (sort of a pain in the arse but doable).

I have more photos I love than I could possibly post so I thought I would post the ones that are the most energy evoking. The story behind the one below is the wildlife photographer had spotted a female polar bear across the ice but when she saw him she submerged.

He took his boat to the location he watched her disappear and captured this. She was hiding from him, however, the image feels like she is waiting for him.

Love how that Owl just blended right in.. much like some other discussions on some creatures seemingly disappearing into their surroundings..

GREAT SHOT!

Found an interesting Artist that makes Art that is placed in the forests, some pretty cool stuff. (Link Here for other pics and article)

Excellent mate, loved those trolls and when it comes to forest art then Andy Goldsworthy also deserves a mention.

Thought this was a good one showing just how big the great pyramid actually is (tourist for scale).

Now if that doesn't help with how large and how many of those blocks were needed to build those.. WOW! (Loved the tourist for size reference..lol)

This one was interesting while I was looking into things caught a Million Years ago in 'Amber'... Right-Click + View Image

An artist has photographed insects that were trapped in amber millions of years ago and the results are beautiful.
