I'm Jewish and I am NOT thrilled with the display. But there is a First Amendment and this is in a private restaurant. So let Nazis be Nazis and enjoy their hateful and angry knockwurst and sauerkraut.

I guess the fact that it was a reenactment, and nothing to do with hatred went high above your head.

I may not like what you think or say, but I will defend your right to think or say it.

An article in a paper, as long as it isn't committing the act of libel, is protected by the First Amendment. Stating an opinion about it is protected by the First Amendment. So why the heck would you ask your first question while saying that you'd defend another's right to say what they want? I'd love to understand the rationale of these two combined sentences.

hmm serious question here? as far as empires go how different was nazi germany to any other previous empire? it's not like germany was any more of a monster than rome or any other militaristic empire.

what they did was done many times before for thousands of years and yet people even those who weren't victims or even related to one still can't let go of this and oppose it so vehemently? makes one question why this is so, such behavior feels unnatural and crafted even, as if it's being used to erase history and hide something from people.

I believe people can have private parties in a private location dressed as dead babies if they wish.
This story is meant to get people wound up and create a divide.
The only story here is the story itself.
As some genius once stated on an animated show, "It insists on itself..."
This story insists on itself.
Reject the story and let's all move on.

The rise and fall of great nations/empires/civilizations, it's always the same recipe. No matter how much they try to control history, it eventually becomes clear even to a blind man.
