Homosexuality is a mental illness.

Homosexuality is a mental illness.

but you dont have any proof because

I'm not giving you hard proof because obviously it doesn't exist

So your saying homosexuality is a mental illness you just dont have any proof because by your own admission it doesn't exist but no you are still going to argue its a mental illness.

hmmmm.....

I think i am quite safe to use the "H" word.

you sir, sound a little bit homophobic.

As for Guinness pulling out of this, its just a PR stunt but its not going to stop me drinking it, got a can right now next to my pc, and i dont really care for the companies policy regarding homosexuality.

I'm not a beer drinker but I might buy a round or two of Guinness at my local watering hole out of respect for a company
that can see discrimination and doesn't buy into the homophobic nonsense.

By doing this, Guinness is hoping to get the gay community of NY on side..This is nothing but a propaganda coup by Guinness..

This amount of publicidad would cost Guinness a fortune..

So now if I want to celebrate anything I can only do it with the permission of the gay community? Want to celebrate your daughters birthday? Only if you allow gay marchers to show up and blow out the candles. Having a picnic at the park? Call some gay marchers to dance around your cooler.

It's getting ridiculous and in your face which is my original point.

Being gay doesn't have anything to do with St. Patrick and in fact it is offensive to many who celebrate this as a religious holiday.

Neither does blowing up cars with bombs but it never stopped the terrorist group the IRA from using the American St. Patrick day from being the biggest fundraiser of the year.

St. Patty's is little more than an excuse to drink and be merry/stupid. It's more an American facsimile of a quiet and demure Irish tradition than it is an actual celebration of anything authentically Irish. For instance, did you know that St. Patty's color was actually blue? Yeah, so what the hell are we wearing green for? Because we're celebrating a holiday we know nothing about, that's why. American homosexuals have no place in a European religious holiday celebration, just like I would have no place at Hugh Hefner's wedding. Don't feel offended, homosexuals of ATS; I would say the same thing about half the people in the parade. If you're not Irish and don't know why St. Patty is famous, you don't have any call to celebrate. Just admit you're an alcoholic like everyone else.

Wait, you think it's okay to have a parade that promotes cruelty to gays? And you don't think Guinness tastes good? I'm not sure which to be more offended about.

I'll take Budweiser over Guinness any day.

So all Irish are terrorists? I suppose Muslim holidays are only for raising terrorist funds as well because, you know, all Muslims are terrorists too, right?

That is a mighty enlightened view you have right there.

Hm? I was saying that you can't prove that any mental illness is a mental illness. Mental illnesses are defined as such by professionals, psychiatrists, researchers, etc. When he asked for proof or evidence, I thought he was attempting to catch me in that kind of trap...

Was I mistaken?

Also, people like to use the word homophobic, but I think labeling someone as becoming extremely anxious around homosexual people just because they don't approve of the idea of homosexuality is a bit much.

You're saying it's normal for animals or even people to desire their own gender? People aside, homosexuality has been seen in animal communities, but it's not widely out there. Only a few animals show this illness.

How do you equate not allowing special interest groups to march as "cruelty to gays"?

Hyperbole much?

A few? wrong.

More being added to the list everyday.

en.wikipedia.org...

It is natural.

Plus it isn't an illness ffs.
Again you try and dis gay folk by telling them they are ill.
Which is more mentally ill? bashing a group of people for being who they are? and making false statements about them?
Or
Falling in love and being attracted to the same sex when It harms no one.

No, you're not homophobic. There's a difference between being afraid of homosexuals and just being a jerk. I mean, it's not like you look at interracial marriage and say, "That's against God's will, that's terrible, that should be made illegal."
