what i was thinking was that maybe some government has some kind of floating airport landingstrip ship... like a aircraft carrier... like something that is a ship in the sea or a sky platform that the Boeing 777 could have landed on

DID the us take it over? I'm going to say no where is supporting evidence, hell even wild claims with loose garble from idiots in DC wheres that? Oh yeah none, because the flight was probably a very horrific and tragic accident involving a grave mechanical error involving fuel explosions causing the plane to next to fragment into alot smaller pieces of itself and over its path at a set altitude scatter itself across a few hundred miles of earth and ocean killing everyone on board. did the US do that I think not perhaps you will claim sabatoge next, don't let your brain fall out.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Come on, you have GOT to be joking. The ONLY way a 777 is going to land on anything that floats is if it drops vertically from the sky, centered perfectly over the top.

Apparently It seems the jet and its passengers have been taken to a small island out in the Atlantic somewhere, although details are sketchy communication's have been set up between the governments of the western world and some nutter that apparently lives there and has threatened a dastardly plan. if our leaders don't follow his instructions.
This is an unconfirmed leaked tape.

That would have to be pretty big, wide and long...cheaper to just use a remote island. ....and where would they dock it during a hurricane or bad weather....I'd think that would have been found out by now by satellite, or other passing ships?....only because it would be huge!

There is no way that an AWACS is going to control a commercial aircraft, unless the commercial aircraft was previously retrofitted with an unmanned flight control package API, which is an extremely formidable and intrusive bunch of equipment and software, probably worth more than the aircraft itself.

AWACS can fly certain drones, as drones use these as the primary flight interface. But is is certainly not it's primary mission.

"The role of the AWACS E-3 is to carry out airborne surveillance, and command, control and communications (C3) functions."
