The Freemason presence here is overwhelming - over 90% of the posts here are either from openly admitted Masonic posters or closet ones.

Good, personally I like to learn as much about masonry as I can.

The main tactic they use is to just bombard discussion forums with bulk nonsence to prevent any real discussions.

Maybe the sceptics agree? Is that a good sign? sex yeah! Theorism like what I see on this board means alot. Even small pockets of quasi-revolutionists can mean alot. It inspires. Hey, maybe theres some artist drawing a blank that can quip some some clever lyrics or form from this that might inspire change.

Think of what a modern secret society would have to do today. They're going about their plans without a hitch. A good secret society is a society that's secret. I think there's alot of roadblocks in place today. False paths, hiding in plain sight. Things like that. They have experts in this field, and they're doing their job well, as they have for *unknown* years. I don't think the truth will fall into our laps this time, I think they know our power. That we can make a difference. The information age breeds the disinformation age, As long as the rule of opposites holds up. Espeically in this "stuck chopping through half of the bush of the amazon thats blocking our path" age we live in. Think of what went down! If they pulled *that* off , the least we can do as what we claim to be and Rise Above it. Ascend.

I don't know the whole story, but it's my understanding that a sort of war broke out between Theron, LTD, and a couple of conspiracy theorists, and everyone involved was banned.

I'll be the first to admit that I've seen Masons act ungraciously to some non-Masonic posters, but the Moderators should bear in mind how these people show up just to provoke Masons. A man of integrity isn't going to just sit around all day and allow himself to be slandered to the pit of hell by a few internet junkie buffoons whose only knowledge of Masonry comes from websites ran by teenagers who believe that dinosaur fossils are actually the remains of "Masonic demons".

Necros, who posted earlier in this thread, is a prime example. Week after week he posts the same nonsense on practically every thread, all of which have been exposed as lies. There are others here who act similarly.

Freemasonry has always, throughout history, been attacked by the unscrupulous and the mockers of truth: this is certainly nothing new. Likewise, it has always been patroned by the just and the charitable. The only reason that Masons post are to clear up the ridiculous myths put forth by some of these anti-Masonic carnies, and to share educational information about Freemasonry and similar fraternal organizations. Yet, practically every time a Mason posts, he is flamed. Those who doubt this need only spend a few minutes searching through the archives.

What about the Virtari, dont forget them!

I was a skeptic, a curious mind what ever you would like to call, prior to coming here and too be honest even though you want to disgraace and degrade an age old fraternity you have done more, for me, to be in favour of Freemasonry than against it.

In my opinion your attacks against, predominantly, passive, information and what seems intellectual people are extremely uncalled for, and it is posts like yours, based in personal opinion only, that prevent this forum fulfilling it's potential.

Reference the Illuminati, if they did exist, if they are as powerful as people believe, sites like this would be very much in their sites.

They remain from public view to conceal their activities, to have a website that openly encourages their investigation, allows freedom of speech and gives people the opportunity to post infromation for the world to see would definantly be of concern.

If they did exist and are as powerful as people believe this site, and all others like it, would be trashed, hacked and pulled off the web before the first post could be submitted.

However I believe we do a good job keeping the board as fair as possible.

intrepid keep ranting! You're doing a damn good job as is all the other Mods, Supermods and Admins. Rest assured that alot of people on these boards appreciate and acknoledge this as a fact. ATS wouldn't be ATS without the Staff...Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

I am not a Freemason and don't know any personally. I will say that in almost every debate about the subject that I have read on ATS, the Masons continue to impress me with their consistancy, composure under fire, and the ability to put forth rational, reasoned replies to some of the most innane and unproven (as far as I can tell) accusations I have seen here (excepting the recent political war).

Ya know, someone has to rule. If some of these conspiracies are true and an Illuminati influenced Freemasonry is involved with it, the fact actually makes me feel better somehow. I can think of much worse people to lead us if thats what its going to come to than some of these men.

Really, if there is an actual Illuminati in the sense most imagine, and they do come here, I bet they laugh their butts off.

Yes, the mods are doing a fairly good job. Nothing stellar, but good enough to keep the boards from erupting into an all-out flamefest.

The one glaring thing I noticed as a lurker for the past month or two was the open conflict between Theron, LTD, and that publicgadfly character. Publicgadfly was for some reason, allowed to remain on these boards despite continued warnings and terrible behaviour. Looks like the Masons took action where the mods didn't. Not a very elegant thing they did, but THEY GOT THE JOB DONE. More power to them. I COMMEND them for their efforts.

From what I can see, aside from MrNecros, who will proably follow publicgadfly anytime now, the level of hostility and flaming on these boards has gone down now that gadfly no longer seems to be posting.

Sorry, mods. I didn't bring this issue up, but I did throw in my answer. Nothing personal, afger all, I see you guys regularly participate (and therefore keep an eye on) lots of these threads. I just think you guys kinda missed the boat on the gadfly issue.

My apologies if I offended you, that certainly wasn't my intention. I realize you guys are busy, and you've always been fair and unbiased in your personal messages. Believe me, your work is much appreciated.

My rant last night was immediately preceded by learning that two regular posters here had been banned because a complaint had been filed against them...by an individual who has stalked and flamed them, as well as myself, ever since he first found this forum. It was not my intent to imply that the moderators weren't doing their jobs, only that in this case it is possible that the two who were banned may have been treated unfairly, and that the individual who had complained against them has been caught in more than one lie.

Well, I thank you for the response. I am a tad surprised that Theron got the ban stick, he seemed to keep quite the honorable stance most times.

Can's speak on the subject of the LTD fellow, as I hadn't really followed his posts.

And I respect Mr Necros and Gadfly for wanting to uphold their positions, even if it doesn't seem to work out for them on the whole.

I hope that we can avoid seeing other bannings though, just like I refuse to ever put a user on ignore, I hate when any view is totally silenced.

There is no more than speculation, ideas and theories about the illuminati and there existence. It is a group that raises much interest, but I have never seen, or read, an conclusive evidence of them.

If anyone has got some I would be gald of a butchers at it, but unitl then they have no influence in my opinion and do not exist. My opinion only folks not challenging anyone.
