Well, they have a strict policy of inventing and doing everything themselves! They even have their own version of Windows.

So inventing Atari would be an accomplishment, although I would recommend the country purchase giant stockpiles of used games and consoles off the secondary market as an easier, yet still Independent, alternative.

They do have some nice tech and a solid military which has all come at the expense of the people one way or another.

The NK make a decision to invest resources into a new project, the question asked is "can we do it now?" never should we".
