Here is what I am thinking and predicting

It was reported that 20 employees from a company specializing in stealth aircraft, the company has actually done just that and made a 777 disappear. Now next is gather every country besides the ones you dont like work together in a large search. Once search has exausted everything and given. along comes evidence of some country like lets say China has the airplane and people in capture. All allies whom are already established now help good old USA wipeout the one country preventing USA from recovering from its current problems.

WW3 is just around the corner.

This American thinks many if not most of our problems are self inflicted not to mention our Government seems to be doing a wonderful job of undermining it's very own foundation by leaps and bounds as well...

I hope that you are wrong, but I can't help but feel it too.

So world war three is going to start over a lost plane?

Why not pick Ukraine as your world war three starter? You have plenty of options besides a lost plane...

A more detailed explanation of your thoughts could maybe help me in seeing how you reached your conclusion.

My moneys on explosive decompression.
It explains the loss of the transponders and why she just dropped off the radar.
lack of debris is explained by the shallow waters and strong currents.
as for the lack of bodies, give then time to ripen a bit them they'll be bobbers washing ashore.

it's a clear case of occam's razor... trouble starts when folks make it more complicated than it is

Pralhad Shirsath, husband of Kranti Shirsath, a resident of Pune who was on the missing flight MH 370, told the Indian Express, that, "Apart from no information about the plane, what hurts most are conspiracy theories."

I agree, too much government, too much regulation, too many restrictions, too many laws, too much taxation, and way too much out of control spending. Self inflicted indeed. But whether self inflicted or not it can present an irresistible opportunity to the enemies of the USA, in any war now the primary targets are all going to be economic first.

As for the missing plane, until it is found anything is possible I suppose.

Close. An explosive decompression wiuld give time to get masks on. A slow leak on the other hand might not be recognized in time.

Interesting earlier today I heard a report on NPR, an interview with a Russian History Guy - Crimea is vitally important for Russia, and Sevastopol is to Russia as Pearl Harbor is to America.

Putin is a hard-core nationalist, and would rather die than loose Sevastopol...

Putin was mentioned as saying he didn't want to start WW3, but he can't let Crimea go and save dignity for Russia.

I dunno.
A missing plane is a big deal - the cloaking device thing is fascinating...
but maybe it's a distraction, or maybe you are right. I've been feeling WW3 has already started, just not spread out yet. Arab Spring was the beginning...things are only getting worse.

I weep for my kids and their hypothetical children/future generations.

I feel despondent sometimes - thanks in large part to ATS having helped open my eyes to things I'd otherwise ignore.
Mixed blessing, I guess. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss.

A very plausible theory. S+F.

WWI started with an assassination. It's not that unlikely that a seemingly minor event could cause a World War.

Do you really think the Faraday Cage Enclosed Tinfoil Hat Crowd has any concept of Occam's Razor?

A rock just fell over in the Grand Canyon, incoming 30 different conspiracies.

Your patience with these irrational childish people is to be commended. but should you lose the battle, there are always skeptic forums where you can find fellow members who have developed their critical faculties to the same extent as you. I mean it must be like shooting fish in a barrel for you here on a conspiracy forum.

Ha..Sorry if my reply made me sound like an a$$..it was typed during the end of a very long conf call and my eyes were falling out of my head.

I think it is important to look at all sides of any given scenario and realize that 9 times out of 10 the truth will be somewhere in the middle.

I personally don't see a conspiracy in event . I don't see the IllumiNSAMasons pulling strings from every shadow. Some people do and sometimes it can get really ridiculous the way people twist information to make a conspiracy work for every event ever. That being said, bad people do bad things so it is important to get all sides.

I don't think this would start WW3. Don't forget the Chinese are spitting feathers at the moment as they have lost a lot of their nationals on the doomed flight. They will not be happy bunnies if they discover this was a terror attack. Also, the world's intelligence agencies are cooperating over this. This implies that on this incident at least there is cooperation between governments over this. Terrorists will have bitten off more than they can chew if they mess with an increasingly angry Chinese Dragon!!

I gotta say, I'm leaning toward disclosure more than WW3. Or perhaps a WW3 with aliens? From the other thread...

First military says it turned around and was 346 (or whatever) miles off course send search parties to a whole diff ocean, then pics from satellites (mistaken for the plane) send them back, then pings and now they somehow know the engines ran for hours.

This has to be the biggest cluster flock ever. I swear I'm beginning to strongly lean toward the cloaking device gone awry or alien theory, or both.

And why did they evacuate the ISS?

If those 20 people had been that important, that wouldn't have been flying between international airports in cattle car class with the general public for this to happen with. Even Coca Cola (for most of their history, if not still) kept it's executives who knew their formula from being in the same place at the same time, and absolutely never on the same plane in case a pure freak accident happened...if nothing else.

So the fact they were even there in the first place speaks against their holding THAT much importance to any grand scheme of things.

I think it's a VERY VERY big ocean and it's nearly impossible to search for what would be left of this, depending on just how it went in. Given the uncertainties now? (sigh) Heck, they are still finding airplanes on land that went down decades ago. It happens I guess...

Poor people.. Never get a proper rest, by how this is looking.

Distraction indeed!!!! The media is spending WAY too much time on this airplane that only carried 4 US passengers. While interesting, IT DOESN'T DESERVE this much attention.

WTF is going on that we are missing because the news is spamming Malaysia Airlines MH370.

If this missing airline does anything it's the product placement for real time search and rescue by big brother with the help of 2+ million people sitting behind their damn computers.

Anyone NOT find the "real time" satellite "have the public help" searching? See everyone Big Brother isn't so bad!!!
