The snipers who shot at protesters and police in Kiev were allegedly hired by Maidan leaders, according to a leaked phone conversation between the EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton and Estonian foreign affairs minister, which has emerged online.

“There is now stronger and stronger understanding that behind the snipers, it was not Yanukovich, but it was somebody from the new coalition,” Paet said during the conversation.

I'm still listening to the rest of the recording.

I've listened to it all now, he states doctors suspect the same snipers and bullets were used to kill both protestors and police, unless I misheard.

Was there something about *ALL* electronic communications being intercepted, monitored and reviewed they thought was a joke or wasn't really happening? That people still discuss "the smoking gun" in open telephone conversations blows me away. I saw a video clip on LiveLeak a couple of weeks back shot in Kiev. It allegedly showed a member of the opposition stopped in his car by protestors for a search. In the boot (trunk, for our American friends) was a case that was opened and in it was a sniper rifle, with suppressor. The driver was allowed on his way, without further delay!

Well.. I keep hearing online that the interim govt and many protestors are neo nazis.

Who knows. Ukraine would probably be better off not aligning with either Russia or the EU.

This isn't the first outright dumb phone intercept quite recently..and the last one was valid, as I recall....

I guess that helps clear some things up. At least in that example of a cobbled together fighting unit. Nothing is simple or easy to make out over there. Nothing, it seems.

If this is true then the following MUST also be true :
1. Since Aston is only a foreign minister then her "superior" in the EU must also know ie Jose Manuel Barroso
2. Likewise the Estonian side ie the estonian president.
3. And Ed Miliband since Aston is a labour peer
4. And Dave cameron since he is the UK leader of the country Aston represents in the EU
5. The leaders of the protestors in the Ukraine
6. All decision makers and resource organisers linked to all of these people in order to get the snipers and material in place (the logistical side of this.....conspiracists always forget about logistics !!!!)
7. The Ukraine police chiefs must allow the snipers into certain areas to allow the snipers to shoot the police. ....say whaaaattt!!!
8. There would be a falsified taped conversation between Putin/ Yanukovych (or representative) and the snipers (or representative) in order to prove it was the Russians/ Yanukovych.

Given the release of this tape surely the alternate tape from 8 must appear. The only logical conclusion if such an alternate conversation does not manifest itself is that that RT tape is a forgery. The forgery will condemn itself once analysed.

The only thing I can think of is the alleged words from yesterday via Interfax.

I missed where it said anything remotely like Israeli Defense Forces are present in Ukraine or anywhere in Europe for that matter.

Every single citizen of the Israeli nation MUST serve and are *ALL* veterans of IDF service (well.. almost all...but that's another thread). So..basically, if you see an Israeli anywhere in the world over the age of majority? Odds are very strong they are also military veterans of the Israeli Defense Force. One doesn't live there and not serve, outside a few very specific exceptions.

Hence...This "Delta" character here says he's Jewish but his 30+ team members aren't. He's a veteran, not a serving soldier and just kinda saw a need and went to work. Mercenary would be another term I'd use....although, perhaps Soldier of Fortune fits better here, if he was fighting for conscience as he says..and not for a paycheck to the highest bidder.

What I don't see any connection to, aside from previous affiliation for training in life, is the Israeli Military/IDF?
