I'm just gonna slide in next to Homer, while I grab another quick coffee!

Yeppir, you have to have carpet in the bedroom, especially when you get cold winter nights. Unless you have allergies, and can't have carpets. Schnauzers are supposed to be hypo-allergenic though...so you can lay down some Schnauzers like floor mats?
Wow, don't mind me.
My hands are on the keyboard, but my head's in The Shed, lol!

i forget that not everyone lives in Texas. The floors may be a little cold, but not like up north.

A lot of the homes I have lived in are historic and have wood floors from front door to back door. We have been installing wood laminate in rental properties to decrease carpet cleaning costs.

At home we have tile, except 1 room that is wood (water damage ruined most of the wood floors, except that room) and 1 with carpet (the basement...its on my list to replace). We have area rugs everywhere, though, to muffle the sound.

I live in the Northern climes and love wood floors. Being a bit cold is easily remedied by my Bear Foot slippers. They're actually to warm most of the time.

And wood flooring provides endless entertainment if you have a active pet or two.

Picking up the family in a few days. Been a loo-ooong time since I've seen them. (November) Driving out to Connecticut Wednesday and by Saturday, the bride, beez jr. and two nasty little cats will be heading back to the warmth of North Dakota!

just finished another coffee here in cold, frigid Tejas.

Still going to fire up the grill. Too cold for charcoal (the taste of starter fluid stays in cold charcoal), so ill fire up the gas side of the grill. Gon' be good!

Good afternoon all. I'm just waking up, having coffee.
I slept all day because I'll be stuck for overtime in the morning, and I need my rest to prepare.
They need to change some people's days off so they'll have enough to cover their shift, or hire more people, but that makes too much sense, I suppose!

Good for you Beez. I like feel good stories. It probably isn't meant for me, but I'm cool with that. It's the optimist in me that squishes the pessimistic side. Needless to say. have fun!
