Timely
G'day Bolters !

Cody - your doors were absolutely craftsman built ! A credit to you mate !!

As a locksmith I could not help noticing the external hinges ( not to mention nil architectural hardware ).

External hinges are a security risk ... just sayin'. I know that is not in your job description - you done yourself proud !

Security may not be an issue with this particular entry considering the expense laid down !

Just an observation.

As an amusing aside - I looked at your original pics of the raw door - for bloody ages !!

Looked 'off' angle wise ( I think I may be a little OCD ) !!

Did not want to ask nor offend ! I was even mentally packing out the lintel to accomodate the subtle 'arch' !!!

LOL !

Thanks for the clarifying pics !

Still have my Grandfathers axe !!

And his left handed screwdriver.

How much do you reckon an early era whitworth shifter would bring ? ...

Thanks mate

The doors had only just been hung the ironmongery went on later, of that unfortunately I have no pictures.

Good observation on the hinges though, I'm impressed, I voiced my concerns as well, and about the ease of entry through a leaded window. What you can't see in the picture is the solid oak security doors (made by a specialist security firm) that close from the inside at night.

Very sorry to hear that Rod.

I have lost a heap of pets in my time ... always gut wrenching !

One thing that has helped justify the short life of our best friends - is the fact that generally - we outlive them.
The thought of leaving a pining heartbroken animal behind is just too sad .

Commiserations mate !

A toast !!

To Rodin !

there are a couple of brass rings hanging above me. I really have no place even noticing them, let alone trying to grab them. But that is what i am doing. So it may be scarce for me around here, although i will still be around daily (just not as much)

Awwwwwww, thank you Night Star for that poem.

Tis truly a sad time for all of us over here in the Rodinus family to have lost such a wondeful companion.

The other even sadder thing is to see our other family pets (3 dogs and the 3 legged cat) pining for him... but with time this will cease and they will get back to sniffing each others bums and laying eggs in the garden for me to tread on.

Notice that I didn't mention the "other" Stinky killer kitten who is still indoors at the moment until I have him identified... he couldn't care about any of the other animals or even us... and lives only to create olfactory havoc hell games with us...

But we love him really... *coughs*

Kindest respects

Good afternoon my fellow ATSers.

I was just about to go warm up some lunch for myself, and I thought I'd ask if anyone here would like to have a taste of some good "down home cookin' " ? I have plenty to go around.
