The facts are clear.

Israeli terrorists committed murder, injury, theft and piracy in international waters, on a convoy of aid ships heading to deliver aid to the people the Israeli's hammer into the dirt on a daily basis.

They are the facts.

I'm only saddened that the ships were NOT armed to the teeth, and couldn't blow the evil terrorists out of the air and water.

Sickening murderers are running Israel into the ground.

If you really are pro-Israel and want to do something for them, i'd suggest urging every Jew and Israeli you know, to kick every Israeli lunatic murderer out of power, before they end up destroying the country and everyone in it.

Allow me to be the first to star and flag this thread. It does not surprise me. The first thing we need to do is purge our government of people with Israeli citizenship.

I agree!
The USA does not deserve to be blessed with the Israelis here.
If anyone things this country or any other would be better off or in that case the whole world would be better off without the Jews you are sadly mistaken.
I would rather have 1000 average Jews living near me then 1 crazy Hamas Muslim terrorist
It's sad... People call good (Israel) evil and evil (terrorists) good.
God will reward you i'm sure

Zionism is not Jeudaism in the same way as Al-Qaeda is not Islam. Most Muslims are not supportive of Islamic Extremists. Like wise most Jewish are not supportive of the Zionist Extremists. If the United States of America abuse their powers of veto at the United Nations Assembly, then they will end up having it removed from them. Powers of Veto are a privilage not a right. That privilage can be removed if a majority at the United Nations Assembly vote it to be removed. Since the United States of America are supplying ammunitions and weapons to the Zionists, therefore the United States of America must realise that they are supplying aid to a fanatical religious sect, observably committing crimes against humanity. I put Zionism in the same category as Nazism. Zionist lines of supply need to be blocked. If the United States of America continue supporting the Zionists then the United States of America will come under attack from United Nations Forces. Zionism should never have become accepted. It is obviously a terrorism within the Jewish religion. Root it out. Purify the Jewish religion. If the Jewish religion will not do this themselves then external intervention becomes inevitable. Obviously the United States of America, having a strong Jewish community, are especially not going to be too happy about having external forces going around disarming them and blocking their bank accounts. Not all american are the problem. Only a minority percentage of american are the problem. Disarming the Zionists is not going to be easy, but it must be done. Zionist Israel are guilty of violating more than 300+ United Nations resolutions. Their blockade against the Gaza Strip is not legal, in that it is not supported by the United Nations Security Council. After the act of piracy, that took place yesterday, the Israeli military have crossed a line. What happened yesterday night cannot be defended. Israel must comply with all United Nations resolutions. The blockade against the Gaza Strip must end. Another humanitarian aid convoy is being prepared, and this time around it is going to be given a Turkish military naval escort so that the Israeli pirates cannot stop it. Turkey are a NATO [north atlantic treaty organization] ally. If Turkish warships are fired apon that will certainly be considered to be an act of open warfare against NATO. The British Royal Navy are also holding internal discussions as to wether or not to send a few warships, for so as to protect the humanitarian aid, that everyone agrees must reach Gaza directly, without any Israeli or Egyptian interference. yes this could go very horrible for america. and obama doesnt seem to care, or at least that is what it seems the puppet masters instructed him to convey. this just came in:

Bethlehem - Strongly condemning Israel's actions against a flotilla bound for the Gaza Strip, the UN Human Rights Council voted Wednesday to dispatch an independent, international probe into violations of international law resulting from the incident.

With 32 votes in favor to three against, and nine abstentions, the 47-member council also deeply deplored the loss of life resulting from Israel's "attack" on the convoy, and demanded that Israel release all detained persons and material aboard the ships. Israel began deporting activists late Monday.

Italy, the Netherlands and the United States voted against the resolution, which also called on Israel to immediately lift the blockade on Gaza, which it imposed in 2007.

Israel says the blockade is to prevent weapons from reaching Hamas, but Palestinians and the UN consider it collective punishment.

the sad part is i am american and love my country but cannot condone what it is backing and cannot stand up with it in this wrong.

Isreal is blockading what they consider to be terrorists. Terrorists? Seems to me there was plenty of notice to Israel that this was a humanitarian mission. They also we're aware of who else was on these ships.

That's why Israel told the convoy in advance not to try and run the blockade. A blockade is a blockade. And let's be honest, where is the food really going to go? To the hungry innocent people? Of course not ! The terrorists will take control of the food and dole it out as they see fit. Same problem with North Korea.

The flotilla tried running the blockade and were stopped. So Israel can blockade anywhere they want include International waters???

They probably should have waited until they were in waters directly controlled by Israel.

So I'm wondering why anyone is surprised this would happen?????
No surprise here. Business as usual they hoped .....Not this time I think.

Let's be honest, this situation hasn't been going on a few weeks. There are diametrically opposing religious views here and neither side is going to compromise their religious beliefs for peace.

yep, I can see how these ships were a huge threat to Israel. ships packed with humanitarian aid PLUS caring people that are sick of seeing the open air concentration camp ignored by their governments. Thats one hell of a threat. the phoney film they spliced together is a joke too.

Israel considers these people to be terrorists and are at war with them just like the US considers Al Queda terrorists. Israel doesn't want the terrorists to receive aid. Seems pretty clear to me.

The Headline for this thread startled me because I thought President
Obama was pro-Muslim / anti-Israel. Why would his "Regime" block
any condemnation of Israel?

Last week, Rahm Emmanuel was heckled at every stop in Israel. His
level of security was unprecedented for a "mere" Chief-of-Staff.

Story: www.huffingtonpost.com...

It seems that Israel is not too fond of the Obama White House. So why
would his "regime" go against the tide and block condemnation. Doesn't
make sense.

If it made sense ATS wouldn't exist, there would be no conspiracy theories, or any conspiracy, but the fact of the matter is, they do most of the deals behind closed doors, so if you only know one dot of a sentence, how could it make sense?

They are telling us lies everyday with a smile, with a smirk to be exact, looking in to our eyes, acting like we are the dumbest M.F'en idiots the world has ever seen, but the truth is, we are.

WE are not even smart enough to call for a complete transparency, every meeting should be recorded, if it is not, investigated.

We don't have the balls, we just have the mouth, let's be honest, most of ATS turned out to be like "John Key", the New Zealand prime minister, who literally have no balls.

The world (at least the U.S. population) is becoming so cynical that
even if meetings were held in front of video cameras, the politicians
in question would be accused of holding off-camera meetings in the
middle of the night in some secluded cave. Thanks to the popular
radio and TV media, the population is losing the personality traits that
made us a great nation not so many decades ago. -cwm

Hamas are the democratically elected and legitimate government, for Israel to deny that is to deny the Palestinian people themselves. And i think calling it a 'war' between Hamas and Israel gives people the wrong impression, these are caged, humiliated, disillusioned and desperate people firing pitiful rockets at a country with one of the most technology advanced and capable militaries in the world which is illegally occupying their land and brutally oppressing them. The vast majority of the world all agree on a two state solution pre 1967 borders yet years later and nothing happens, no one is willing to enforce international law and to let them be free.

I get that there is a war, the soul meaning of a blockade is war, it means Israel is at war against the whole of Gaza:

That being said, Hamas can be at war with the whole of Israel:

Hamas can throw as many home made fireworks towards Israel and kill civilians, that would be legitimate in this case:

The thing is, Palestinians are in a huge disadvantage, and I would like at least one strong country in the International community to support the Palestinian cause and to push the Palestinian agenda.

We all know the weak won't be heard, that is why Turkey stepping in is a huge step in balancing the two sides

Peace won't be achieved if one side is too powerful, especially if that powerful side has nothing to gain from peace.

Israel doesn't want peace, if it did, it could have had it long, long time ago.

It wants land and power, and it wants to safe guard American interests in that region.

Israel made the devils deal, it will come back to haunt it.

First of all thanks for being nice abolut all this. Very refreshing!!

In my eyes there is a dominate factor thateven the UN recognizes that Israel is Occupying these areas.

Wikipedia

Following Israel's capture of these territories, settlements consisting of Israeli citizens were established within each of them. Israel has applied civilian law to the Golan Heights and East Jerusalem, incorporating them into its territory and offering their inhabitants permanent residency status and the possibility to become full citizen if they asked it. In contrast, the West Bank has remained under military occupation, and it and the Gaza Strip are seen by the Palestinians and most of the international community as the site of a future Palestinian state.[168][169] The UN Security Council has declared the incorporation of the Golan Heights and East Jerusalem to be "null and void" and continues to view the territories as occupied.[170][171]

The status of East Jerusalem in any future peace settlement has at times been a difficult hurdle in negotiations between Israeli governments and representatives of the Palestinians. Most negotiations relating to the territories have been on the basis of United Nations Security Council Resolution 242, which calls on Israel to withdraw from occupied territories in return for normalization of relations with Arab states, a principle known as "Land for peace"

Unfortuantely in this world that the sword is mightier than then pen.

What is the "palestinian agenda"?

Peace won't be achieved if one side is too powerful,

You mean like the Allies in WWII ? Oh wait a more powerful side did create peace.

Israel doesn't want peace, if it did, it could have had it long, long time ago.

How ?

It wants land and power, and it wants to safe guard American interests in that region.

It wants the land it feels it owns just like the palstinians. See the problem now ?

Israel made the devils deal, it will come back to haunt it.

Or hamas made the devils deal and it will come back to haunt IT.

Forgive me, I should've specified first whether or not your God went by the name of Yahweh or Allah. I think I've spent a little too much time going over evolutionist vs. creationist debates and listening to conservative talk radio, that I immediately associated the word God with Christianity or Islam. I guess I'm just tired of people limiting themselves to one spiritual path just because they succumbed to the fear of hell.

Hey not a problem
Just chatting here. I try not to get riled up unless someone else does.
You've been very nice and I appreciate that ! Just because we may disagree doesn't mean I don't respect your opinion.

Have a great weekend !

I think the real problem is each side has their steadfast beliefs and are not willing to bend. I fear that the only way there will be peace is if one side is eliminated.

I'm glad to hear it. We have all fallen for the "poor palestinian" myth for too long. The blockade is in place to reduce the number of weapons smuggled into Gaza. Israel does what it does to protect itself from a population who elected a band of thugs and killers. All Hamas has to do is recognize Israel and stop attacking it.

Obama Regime Blocks Condemnation of Israeli Crimes at UNSC Meeting

alethonews.wordpress.com

An emergency meeting of United Nation Security Council ended with United States once again blocking international efforts to condemn an Israeli attack on the peace flotilla on Monday morning.

A strong formal statement by Turkey demanding condemnation of Israel, a U.N. investigation, prosecution of those responsible for murder of peace activists, payment of compensation to the victims and an end to the Gaza blockade was vetoed by the US.

You must have missed my posts on the first page of this thread, so, here it is again, straight from the horses mouth (that being the UN), ...

Security Council Condemns Acts Resulting in Civilian Deaths during Israeli Operation against Gaza-Bound Aid Convoy, Calls for Investigation, in Presidential Statement

Presidential Statement

The full text of the presidential statement, to be issued as document S/PRST/2010/9, reads as follows:

“The Security Council deeply regrets the loss of life and injuries resulting from the use of force during the Israeli military operation in international waters against the convoy sailing to Gaza. The Council, in this context, condemns those acts which resulted in the loss of at least 10 civilians and many wounded, and expresses its condolences to their families.

And from what I understand about the UN Security Council, it only takes one member country that sits on the council to block a statement like this from being made by the UNSC.

The US apparently didn't try very hard, or maybe not at all, to block this condemnation.

You should also note that the source for the OP article is an Iranian news website!
