Oh dear, non of you can see the woods for the trees. ANPR cameras (automatic number plate recognition) are being installed all over the UK And all of you think it's for abortionists or anti abortionists. Do you actually know the power of these cameras. Make them with facial recognition, as they are in the UK, and you have complete movement control of everybody that drives a car and every pedestrian that passes a camera. But keep arguing about abortion while they bring the technology in to control you.

Cruisers have had these built in for years just to check plates.
They'll scan every plate the camera sees, and run it against the local database.
Warrant for arrest? Outstanding tickets? Year make model and color... all automatically populate on screen.
The local database is generally out of date and likely missing key information to work as intended, but as software progresses and cell networks improve the everyday police car will be more effective at snooping on you.

Like he said, throw in facial recognition and a hefty backend, maybe an api to the nsa - you won't go through a traffic light without your social media score being updated.

No. False statement.

In TEXAS law the statute explicitly prohibits prosecuting a pregnant patient who undergoes an abortion.

Never once a mention of the tripe you posted.

That said, and illegal "abortionist" performing, should be reported....no?

How about making the plate last as long as the persons diver license since they will/do likely bare the same scan lines as the vehicle owner does on it? A 7 to 10 year option that can transfer vehicle with you would be great; Instead of the yearly stand in line all day and affix a sticker option or the send money and wait not knowing if it'll get delivered.

I use these cameras often for work. They are quite powerful. Often installed on police cruisers and repo trucks. Helps find a vehicle fast.

Just an excuse to get the cameras up. Then they will be used for other things. Like leaving y9ur city under climate l9ckdowns

We have them in Oxford UK already as a trial.

If you leave your city in your car without permission. You get fined. a reply to: Ch1nch1lla
