There is no such thing as moonlight.

The moon is cold and gives no light of its own.

It is not the Sun's equal counterpart.

The earth orbits the sun; together they dance.

The moon encircles the earth and hides its face.

What is it hiding!? From whence does it hail!?

Is it even a natural satellite?

They say it is hollow.

I do not trust it.

Have no fear however.

Whatever its purpose.

The Sun protects us.

Until the light goes out.

The Sun is our Guardian.

The center of our Home.

That's the way I see things anyway.

You may claim the earth to be so.

I myself, consider the two as parents.

The Sun radiates the Light of Life!

The Earth nourishes and hosts Life!

What is the Moon's part in all of this?

Wolves howl at the moon...

What do they know!?

Awoooooooo !!!

Hahaha, don't mind me.

I get carried away at times.

Carry on, if you will.

But beware the moon...

As my best friend would say "THE MOON IS A LIGHT IN THE SKY!" of course he's a flat earther hehe.

I like your writings they're kinda enigmatic. Big ups for abstract writing.

I would be interested to know your favorite book or author.

Moonlight is sunlight bounced off the moon. It's still moonlight even though it started somewhere else. Sort of like how Venezuelans in the US are Mexicans..

I do not trust it.

Don't ever, ever, and I mean ever trust the moon. 👀

Speak for yourself. I like the moon. It controls water on earth, and I heard its gravity helps make us more stable so we can have life. Not only that, the sun sucks and gives people cancer. And some day the sun is going to become a giant star and destroy the earth, because its aggressive.

If it weren't for the sun you wouldn't see the moon...

Hell, you wouldn't see much of anything really.

Water belongs to the earth; she can manage it fine.

We don't need no stinking moon...

What happens on a full moon?

Crime rates and accidents go up.

And yeah, the light is brave and bold.

It can be aggressive, very much so!

Like a warrior prepping for battle!

You live by the reflected light if you want.

I'll take direct sunlight, any day.

My flesh may burn.

Oh well.

You're a lunatic.

Brain Damage by Pink Floyd

The lunatic is on the grass
The lunatic is on the grass
Remembering games And daisy chains and laughs
Got to keep the loonies on the path

The lunatic is in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more

But can't go wrong with Pink Floyd!

Lunatic it is then, I can't deny!

The water on earth wouldnt manage itself well without the moon. The tides wouldnt work. Crime goes up on a full moon because people are idiots, but the full moon is also the best time to catch shrimp and crab. And life on earth needs it.

Well...everyone who knows anything about conspiracy theory 101 knows that the moon is thought to be either a place from which the so-called matrix is broadcasted giving us the majority of the world we interpret around us.

There are also those who believe in the quarantine theory or the simulation theory believe that our lives are a never ending recycling of the same souls which are attracted and baited to the moon upon death to be put into soul recycling machines which feed us back into a neverending and pointless existence on earth to provide sustenance for parasites from another dimension.

There are even those who swear that upon death, the one way you can escape this fate is to not go into the light which is a clever emotional trap using images of your loved ones and instead leave the cycle and fly off into infinite space upon death freeing yourself, something just too difficult for most people when confronted with a false sense of reuniting and refound love with those we have lost and missed so much...souls which have already been recycled and won't ever remember who they were or even know you in reality. It is a truly hideous existence we are trapped in according to some theories and it doesn't seem like we have hope of freeing ourselves anytime soon.

Bah, I don't believe those lies.

It may be true at some level.

But beyond is another story.

I know I can't be trapped by some shadows.

Or the parasites that hide within.

I belong to the Light.

Love is Light.

Light knows and sees all.

No darkness can contain the Light.

Add:

Life exists beyond good and evil.

Beyond light and dark.

Beyond colors.

Beyond sound.

Beyond the sacred silence.

Death is not the end but a means.

Yeah! Damn the evil moon up their doing nothing, mooching off the mighty sun, and plotting against us! With the wolves howling at it and such.

Yes, beware the moon, and all things cyclical!

And I think life dies out long before the sun does. As main sequence stars near the end of their life they burn hotter. So in about 500 million years, as the sun passes the halfway point of its age, it starts this process that kills all habitabillity 4 billion years before Red Giant phase engulfs our orbit.

But yes, we wouldn't be here our noble G-Type Yellow Dwarf host star.

Please lay off the moon though, this notion that it's dependent on a sun to exist is so heliocentric it makes me support lunar issues even more.

ETA: And yes, I get this is a "The Sun is God, Moonlight is Satan thing you have going here, but everything reflects sunlight, and the moon more symbolically represents femininity, and the cyclical nature of our world, as much as the seasons themselves.

Some may laugh at your post but not me , 30 years ago I left my cottage late one evening to walk the dog before bed and at the end of my drive way I looked up at this full moon and everywhere around me there was this golden string like things falling, visable to my eyes but too small to see on the ground , I have never ever seen that before or since .

If the moon is reflected sunlight why is it so cold ?

The moonlight (yes, it exists) is sunlight reflect by a surface that is not a perfect mirror, so the light is both reflected and filtered.

Because the Moon is not a flat disk or a bowl that can focus heat towards us. It dissipates heat and light outwards.

Pretty cool.

Be careful with your moon hatred. It's where the "souls" of man are warehoused for the future. eta....thanks for the science lesson.

IMO:

The Moon takes from the Earth, then gives to the Sun. Then the Sun gives to the Earth.

Triangle of death and life.

Who says it's cold? Temps on the moon are extreme. 250F at the equator in day, and -450F at the poles at night. It's cold in the dark. No atmosphere.

I should have pointed out the experiments were on the earth , it was colder in the moonlight than it was in the shade the exact opposite of when in sunlight ?

Okay, that makes more sense. I'll answer your original question with a question: Why can't you get a moontan? Here's a hint... think radiation.
