Agreed.

They're usually very thorough in their vetting. If I had to guess, either the guy that started it was having a mental breakdown of sorts today but was fine during the vetting or the other agent said or did something so egregious that the first agent got very physical in showing his displeasure.

Either way, this is *not* good for the secret service.

A SS is not buddy buddy with the detail that they are sworn to protect. There are reasons for that. So I am going to the cat on this. Either mental break or someone said something that....should be kept to them damn selves.

In the past, sure. I've worked lots of USSS ops. The Majority of them I've met have been pretty solid.

However, I don't know if you've noticed, but the current regime is an unmitigated clown show.

Following the blow-up, some questioned the hiring process behind that agent, including any assessment of that individual’s background, according to RealClearPolitics.

There had also apparently been longstanding concerns about the agent in question prior to Monday’s incident, per the report.

So, did Harris or someone else put in a good word to get him an assignment he was in no way qualified for ? This administration is known to hire people unfit for the job to push DEI.

The SS spokesman said it was a medical issue. Perhaps alcohol or alcoholism was involved.... Or perhaps Jewish space lazers.

Maybe he saw something that wasn't kosher.

Coke in the White House and they cannot tell us whose it is? When this happened, and there was no scapegoat (because there always is) it let me know that the White House Culture is not what it was pre-Obama.

I am thinking if Kamala wants something she gets it. I mean, she is high as a kite all the time.

Didn't anyone catch it on video? That would be so funny to watch.

The SS has a history of doing all kinds of debauchery and only sometimes getting caught. Secret Service agents partied with prostitutes in Cartagena and did drugs too. (Of course during the Obama presidency when government corruption skyrocketed.)

Maybe this guy wasn't one of the boys, and when his coworker agents asked him to go pick up Kamala's drug supply, he started swinging.
