Bad Juju - Taking a break - Away from keyboard

Hello ATS family and friends.

Just a brief message to say I'll be missing in action for an undefined period.

Like many before and after me, I've suddenly hit a bad juju storm in my life's voyage. Everything bad that could possibly happen, happened, converging together to make my life a living hell, worse than what it was already.

Needless to say, ATS, for however much I love being here, has to be put on hold. I've never ranted here, nor divulged my problems, so I won't go into details; suffice to say, it's not health or relative related.

Extra apologies to my brethren in the Writer's forum. I won't be able to comment on all your ingenious stories for while.

And to DTOM and Argentus, I'm doubly sorry for not being able to help out with artwork and stuff.

Ok, the lull in the storm is ending, bracing for more to come. So, for now I'll just summarise with:

Our species is really resilient and adaptive. That means you too. Sometimes we just need to step back and find another purpose/direction.

The truer you are to yourself the easier it is to see that a singular purpose is just nonsense and a more broadened approach will open other doors for you instead of believing that you're completely adrift without hope.

If you are dealing with bad luck remember it comes in 3’s. Then all will be back to good.

Take care of yourself. Prayers and good wishes for a quick return to normalcy.

Do what you need to do and with luck ATS will still be here when you return.

No matter how hard the wind blows or how savage the sea gets the winds and tide always calm. When our courage and strength holds throughout the battle is when the sea returns to that flat calm under a blue sky and bright sun we yearn for.
