I don't see it as mean. I see it as cause and effect in the real world and flawed expectations vs predictable outcome.

There are a lot of people these days that just don’t care that you know they’re lying, cheating, thieving.
As long as they get some kind of thrill, payoff, leg up ….. they couldn’t care less about everybody knowing how ridiculous they are.

A right proper wild story, there. Though I do hold out hope that there is some kind of resistance still happening, below the radar.
Flynn, Rogers, Trump, Musk, Desantis, Paul, Cruz, Pompeo ….. can’t all be a mirage, or flapping in the breeze with no one else behind them.
I definitely think that Gates, Zuckerberg, Twitter, were created by the bad guys to control global communication and propaganda.
Maybe Musk really is a vector to fight back, like Trump. Even if they both do odd things that don’t seem to fit the strategy ….. we don’t know the nuance or details of the whole thing. Like trying to understand what’s going on in the head of a Bobby Fischer or Boris Spassky in a chess match.
