I don't have a channel to change. If you do, that's your choice.

Might I suggest, Netflix, Amazon prime, Hulu, etc. Every viewer puts a little in my pocket. Thanks in advance!!

Look up "residuals" never mind...

Amen.

Cable is pay to be advertised to for 1/3 of the time and god awful content anyways.

And the radio is distilled cringe.

Forget cable or satellite.

Every movie or TV show ever made is available for a onetime $35 with a budget streaming box. And not for just the US, everywhere that's connected to the www.

I change the channel when I see "red and black", flashing lights, and cringy voices and noise. My favorite channels are the ones I don't get.

I hate the Colonial Penn commercials the most.

And all the commercials showing crippled and deformed kids are bad.

How bout the commercials reminding people of their pending deaths and illnesses.

Loads of fun 😧

If you are using HAM radios to listen to fake handclapping, autotune voices and Chuck Shumer, then maybe just thow yourself out the window.

Just Kidding. I know you wouldn't be doing that, so keep an ear to that HAM and enjoy those warm analogue glowing dials or valves if you have them and enjoy your time surfing of the Airwaves and all the travellers you may encounter.

Any of the Kars For Kids commercials. That jingle is the absolute most annoying thing ever created. The writer of that jingle deserves to spend eternity in the firey pits of Hades with their rectum packed full of hot coals, listening to nothing but their creation.

I usually only have two streaming services in rotation at a time too so I’m not shelling out a whole bunch of money to all of them at the same time. Once I get bored after a month or two I’ll drop it and rotate.

The content seems to be better than cable too. So many constraints on the stuff that airs on cable. And it’s not that they’re “clean” that bugs me so much, as some shows prone to be annoying because of the inverse… but it’s the common structure of the programs that really bugs me.

They have to build around commercials. I’ll be honest, some can do it tastefully, but even so, you get a common rhythm that becomes as repetitive of the same music.

On the alternative platforms you even have slow burns. Shows that defy the status quo and even utilize multiple episodes for character and plot development. And when they execute well there it’s a far different ride than I’m used to.

All that aside, now I can watch foreign content. British, French, Danish, Norwegian, Luxembourgish, Russian, Icelandic, Australian, Indian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese. Those are just countries that I’ve actually watched translated shows from.

My curiosity is no longer bound to some distilled model.

Is "off" considered a channel? Because that's what I keep my television set to.
